£8m a good starting point but reckon we can squeeze 10 easily. Not a disaster given his contract situation.

Only going to increase given his current form. Charge to playoffs even if not successful could see the 8m become 15m+ in my view.

Several clubs, including EPL clubs, will declare and interest in him and he will leave for an undisclosed sum. The same with Eze, Manning or anyone who comes in.

We should hopefully be lining up replacements already for them. No point getting 30m in bank and not spending say, 1/3 of it.

I personally think 8m quid for BOS with a year left on his deal is about right. 6 months ago most on here would probably have let him go for a good bit less in fact.

I'd take £8m but hopefully we'll try and get a little bit more out of the deal. Or there's a bidding war which drives the price up. Would be sad to lose him though, the boy is quality.

If current form was longer and more consistent I would be expecting 10-12mil+ As said in another thread current form is only three months since brum away

Think it's that he's actually improved as a player, is now more consistent, stronger and has better end product - all of which is a consequence of his work on the training ground and in the gym; and a testament to the coaching. Similar story with other younger players in the squad who are overall improved players.

I think we have a quite young midfielder in our U-23 team who is quite close to a place in our senior squad. Emrit Bansal - McNulty is his name I believe..

eze will be off for sure, wouldn't be surprised if bright and manning were off too though, more so in the case of bright. i reckon cameron and hall will have their contracts renewed but i can see us letting rangel go even though he's still a quality player the club will look at it as we already have kane and kakay here along with ball being able to play RB if we need, pugh will be let go for sure. amos and hugill will obviously be off but maybe amos will be back as part of a swap for eze?
all in all we'll need around 4 or 5 1st team players next season

According to WLS we are interested in a young Blackpool CB. I just felt the need to focus on football again..
Edit: Alfie Kilgour is playing for Bristol Rovers not Blackpool. Sorry.

Thank fuck......... finally some transfer rumours..........
QPR and Coventry City are plotting to swoop for Chelsea’s Ike Ugbo according to a report from The Sun.
The 21-year-old striker is seen as one of the better players to come from the Chelsea academy in recent years though he was unable to break into the first team this year despite their transfer embargo stopping them bring anyone new in. Instead, he headed out on loan to Dutch side FA Roda where he scored 13 goals in 29 games before the season was ended early due to the Coronavirus. Ugbo has also been on loan at clubs such as Barnsley, MK Dons and Scunthorpe United.
However, Ugbo’s time at Chelsea may be coming to an end. His contract is set to expire in the summer and this report reveals that he has got interest from two teams looking to snap him up at the end of the season. QPR were mid-table in the Sky Bet Championship season before the season was suspended and are confident they’ll still be in the same league next season so are looking for some extra firepower. Depending on the results of votes happening this week within the EFL, Coventry City may be promoted from Sky Bet League One and are looking for a young striker to help them stay in that league.
For Ugbo, it would be tempting to leave Chelsea so he can get a stable career somewhere rather than heading on loan to a new team every season. A move to QPR would be easy geographically but Coventry have got a good record bringing young players through into their first team meaning he might have a better chance in the West Midlands.

Bizarre story.
How can anyone be plotting a move for anyone? There are no guarantees of football restarting any time soon, especially outside of the top flight. And surely no scouting etc. can take place right now. I suspect the only transfer dealings brewing are top flight clubs trying to pick up the best talent from the Championship for a song as clubs are battling to keep afloat.

Problem is that without definite restart dates no one knows what their budget is actually going to be. WBA for example maybe less keen on forking out 8m for BOS if they find themselves still in this division next season.
A lot of clubs are going to be taking a hit either way and that could mean we end up retaining some of the talent.

There will be loads of cheeky bids like that going on this summer Corbs. With so many clubs fighting to keep afloat it's inevitable more secure clubs will be trying their luck. I'd think virtually every club outside of the top flight will need to sell to balance the books.

he will be able to leave for free in 1 years time.
if we get an offer of 5mil, i'd take it.

eze's contract ends next year but the club have a year extension on top of that which will take him up until the summer of 2022.
that's good to know.
