Keep hearing that the madness of high transfer fees is done. That's 2 million for Eze then.

I'd be inclined to try to hang onto to Eze this window, if what West London Sport reported about there being an option to extend him to 2022 is true. This summer's transfer window is going to be a bloodbath. Loads of clubs will be looking to sell to survive. I suspect the clubs that don't need to sell will be taking full advantage of the situation. If we can afford to (and that might be a big "if"), we should be looking to hang onto our most prized assets until some normality returns.

On a recent Podcast Mr Warburton said future transfer fees maybe 40% less compared to pre Covid fees and that players wage demands may also drop accordingly. Would that mean a more level playing field for Championship Clubs in a new season ?

QPR are interested in French winger Axel Urie.
The 21-year-old is approaching the end of his contract at Ligue 2 club Guingamp.
He has been offered a new deal but several clubs have been monitoring him ahead of a possible move.
Rangers are among them and are interested in taking him to west London.
Urie was signed by Guingamp from Nimes last summer.
He is among a number of players QPR have identified as a possible signing for when the transfer window reopens.

Agree value of all players will drop because of CVD typical of our luck
We can’t afford to lose Eze or BOS on free nor on cheap. I dont usually advocate this but make them both offer they can’t refuse (there real deal) and tie them down long term and hopefully market recovers and we make money back plus more And there with us for possible promotion push

i think eze and bos will be off for the reasons you said westy, market needs to recover and we penny pinch now. i reckon we'll still get a decent fee for both because of the amount of clubs interested.
i doubt eze would stay anyway unless we offered him an insane wage as he could probably command a 40k a week wage in the prem given the amount of sides that want him.
eze is way too good for us and this league now and wants to step up according to interviews. i'd be more concerned at the loss of bos though, great wingers are hard to come by and i doubt dalling is ready to fill the gap. eze is more easily replaceable as i feel that chair will be good enough to step up next season

Date: 31st May 2020 at 6:00pm Written by: chrisgallagher Newcastle United are the latest Premier League club to show an interest in Eberechi Eze ahead of the summer transfer window.
The attacking midfielder has established himself as one of the best players outside the top-flight with his performances for the R’s this season, with Eze scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists in this campaign. Unsurprisingly, such form has caught attention and boss Mark Warburton claimed recently that the 21-year-old could go on to play for any side in the Premier League.
Crystal Palace were keen on Eze in the previous window, whilst Tottenham have been linked with a £20m move for the youngster and the Chronicle have now confirmed that the Magpies are keeping tabs on Eze ahead of the window.
Of course, there is every possibility that the Tyneside outfit could be one of the biggest spenders in the country if their proposed takeover that will bring significant Saudi investment goes through, so such a fee won’t be a problem for Newcastle.

Hugill's loan has been extended to cover the last 9 games of the season.
Luke Amos is also likely to agree to stay until the end of the season.

"However, Eze is set to be a man in demand over the coming months and is believed to be valued at around £20 million."Best bit about the article. Albeit depressing that we're resigned to losing him.

If palace are in for Eze then it must be to replace Zaha who is earmarked for a move to PSG at £80m🙀 What football recession ? If Palace get anything like £80m then let’s start quoting £30m +

If one or two of the above mentioned players leave,I think we have to realise that Premier league still is a mid to long term project. In a way that is fine by me; We look very competitive under Warburton & Co. especially from the 60th minute mark And thank God, we are still here..

You totally misrepresented him in your post. He said he is committed to QPR, committed to doing the job he signed up for. Dave Mac has had it in for QPR since he lost his ITK status and is always looking for a story to undermine the club these days. I don't know what you have got against Ferdinand but you certainly don't have an unbiased view. He and Hoos have been the best thing to happen to QPR in this century.

Give it up mate, he is trying to up the ante on Eze, not give him away for peanuts. Take Elsa's advice.
