Hope this is mischief making and not a hint That would be a very unpopular move I think. Except at Stevenage of course.

Rumours flying around that Wells is close to signing for us again. Presuming it will be a loan but not 100% sure.

Just looking into this Nakhi Wells rumour. I think is bollocks. Seems to have been started by some wind up merchant on Twitter!

WLS reporting that Cameron is on his way to us in a permanent deal. I think that's a bit more realistic. Stoke will want him off the wage bill, and at his age he probably just wants to play. Wells however isn't going to walk away from his Premier League contract, and Burnley I think also want a fee for him.

I actually doubt Brentford would roll the dice on this type of signing. They're smarter than that! Austin is bad business at 8m quid, and most likely looking for 3 years on near enough Premier League money. Injury prone and past his best. I suspect he'll be one of those players that becomes a burden in the 2nd half of his contract, another Ross McCormack or Jordan Rhodes.

According to a post on WATRB a bid on Alan Judge from a Championship club has apparently been turned down. I hope that club is not us, West Acton.

Not convinced that's smart money to be spending myself. There are plenty of half decent free transfers out there. Why blow what little we have on a 30 odd year old Championship level player?!

Judge was very decent player at Brentford if he recaptured that form 250k would be a bargain

A very complicated leg injury, I think.

A very complicated leg injury, I think. Just reading up about it now Shania. Double fracture of his right leg in 2016 that kept him out for a year and a half. Since coming back he's started less than 50 games in the last 3 seasons, mainly because of injuries. He's also currently recovering from a broken wrist sustained on international duty at the end of last season. Ipswich have apparently rejected our 250k offer. Regardless of how good a player he is when fit, I'll stick with my point that maybe there are wiser places to spend what little transfer funds we have.

Buying him is risky business, but Ipswich fans rate him highly and want to keep him. I do also have to say that I`m not sure who he will compete with if he they raise their bid and decide to bring him in, but I guess he is an in and out winger so BOS is maybe the one he will alternate with?

I actually had a look on a few Ipswich forums to see what they were saying about him. Clearly they rate him as one of their better players, but there were a few worrying comments suggesting the injury may have taken a bit out of him. Also no goals and only 1 assist in his half season with the club. www.twtd.co.uk/forum/461647/page:1

Judge would be a great buy IMO. Cannot recall having a proper free-kick taker in the squad for yonks.
