Plenty cover CB In My view, McKenna would be nice to have not necessity. Currently have Hall, Leister, Barbet, Cameron, Masterson and Wallace can play their. Can only play two Can Wallace play Centre Half mate? Thought he was an out and out Left Back. Regardless, I agree. Only reason we would be signing another Centre Half is that Leistner is on his way out! |

Warbs just sees McKenna as the squad's icing on the cake because BFG isn't his ideal type of CB (which is no criticism of him). No huge deal if it doesn't come off however. There's also a bit of money in the pot now from player sales, which could be easily recouped in a couple of years on McKenna, and which also fits in with the club's model.

Exactly what I was getting at when I said I reckon there is a chance there might be a few surprises left in the window mate. Deals might come about last minute cos clubs need to raise funds for their own targets.

McKenna would be a class signing but the rumoured alternative of Bates would also be a very good option.
He’s very highly thought of a Hamburg and made quite an impression last season.
I think if the club can get McKenna then it’s great business but good to see we got other options.

Not at 5mil+ can spend that money better in other places personally. I follow Aberdeen always have (mum is from there) got be honest never classed Mckenna as ball playing CB. No nonsense CB yes but not ball playing

good player but don't see how it will dramatically improve the side, sure he's an upgrade on some of our players but he'd also be holding them back. |
