They're happy keeping a player who doesnt want to be there? under long contract and they won’t sell below what they value him. Exact same position most on here were suggesting we take with players whose valuation is not met ie Furlong That's fair enough. I guess if we were in a similar position we'd support the club taking that same stance. |

i.e. Furlong. The clubs valuation was met it was the fans valuation that was not met.

McKenna. Thing is the boy's gonna leave them one way or another. Contract is irrelevant by this point.
It's just down to the exit strategy now, I think he'll end up this side of the border. Just a question of how far this side.

The only thing that surprises me about this is that we ever thought we could afford McKenna in the first place. I've never seen this David Bates play, does anyone know anything about him? The fact we are scrambling to get a centre half in makes me think that the BFG will definitely be on his way in the next 24 hours or so. Along with Mas and Goss I suspect. |
