absolutely no passengers that’s more like it. this. It's a competitive division, if you carry passengers you get beat. They turned up today, result.
Put it down to Warbo’s pre-match mantra! 😀

Got a theory about Joe L. I think MW's style absolutely drained him of confidence, some GK's can play that sweeper role but some can't. Doesn't stop them being good keepers like the Burnley lad, England class but not so good as a sweeper. Interesting call for Southgate.
At the end of the day the manager has to decide whether the system comes before basic principals. That also applies to Southgate.
Anyway nice to see a bit of backbone in the side, good attitude good result.

Pity that Eze back heel didn't work out. Would have added around 5 mil to his value

Good confident goalkeeping from Joe Lumley today..made a couple of important saves that kept us in the game..in the second half he made a hash of a straightforward clearance with his feet and came for a cross that he misjudged..he is 25 and despite having played well for the majority of 70 games for us is still one mistake away from being public enemy number one. If I was Joe I would pull a hammy and let Ned Kelly show our fans what a poor keeper really looks like.

Would you swap Eze for === Wells and Hugill back I would proper strikers both of them I like Hugill but he doesn't make sense as a genuine transfer target. West Ham paid 10m for him and he's on 40 bags a week. Best we can hope is that nobody comes in for him and we can get him back on loan next season.

We always play better when Chair is in the team more creativity like chair but he holds on to the ball to long and has habit of turning in circles

Chair is getting better all the time and his decision making will improve with experience. Can see a pass and we do create more when he is buzzing around .

I'd rather he held on to the ball for longer if it meant being sure to retain possession. Just think that's the continental way, especially the Latin nations. He dovetails so well with Eze and Bright too; they all have a great understanding. Far rather see a more possession based style for us as long as it has some end product.

great result that.
just hope that hugil's injury is not that bad and he recovers quickly.
people slate him but he has banged in 15 goals for us this season. would have been more if we never had nakhi from the start.
would take jordan back next season in a heart beat.
strikers are about scoring and hugill has proved that he can.
its going to be an very important summer for signings. we need strikers, midfielders and defenders.

But he holds on in good positions Stan (bit like Freeman) and loses it or kills move but defo something to work with he has the ability just need read game now and learn when to release

Agree 73 as huge potential. Just hope someone is investing loads of time in him on the training pitch as he’s 100% worth the effort
