Hmmm. Good in a way, but for the life of me I can’t see why it shouldn’t be this season, as with Wigan.
Well, I’d be classed as a cynic if I suggested it was because they would go down this season instead of Wigan.
At least it’ll have totally fucked up any planned recruitment and may even make existing players desert the ship. 😂

12 points is not a lot to claw back at start of season. Just probably means wont make automatic promotion

Should' be this season another joke decision feel sorry for Wigan call the farking lawyers in
Different rules for different fools
Should be the season in what it happened not the season coming
They've given them every chance of staying up now
Total joke again
Derby will be same

Just realised Wigan had their appeal today. Expect to find out next week wether or not it was successful.
If it is, then Barnsley go down, which I guess would lead to further appeals and confusion.

Sheff Wed, far older, bigger, more established club than Wigan. Any coincidence in the discrepancy of treatment between the two... QPR, small club with super rich owners hit with a multi-million pound fine...
hmmm...

They will apply it next season like Weds. They've given themselves an out for when Barnsley appeal. I cringe when I see how people run all sorts of things in this country now. Always a buggers muddle.

Which is what this whole FFP nonsense is in a nutshell. The road to hell, paved with good intentions.

Why dish out 12 points this season for one team and next season for another? Is it a timing thing? Or are the Football League just making it up as they go along?

No justification whatsoever to carry it over and you have to question the integrity of the people in charge of these types of decisions.
