He's gone there as 2nd/3rd choice keeper mate. I think it's actually quite shrewd business. Bags of experience, bound to be good about the dressing room and more than good enough as back up there, even if he isn't what he once was.

Yes I agree but still a bit of a downer for Spuds fans

he isn't what he once was He's only 33. What's gone wrong in his career? Wouldn't be the first keeper to have his best years in his 20's and falter when they should be in their prime. Paul Robinson, Jack Butland, David De Gea & Fraser Forster have all done similar in recent years.

Such a crucial position, so when you have a crisis in confidence it can be enough to wreck your whole career.

His confidence was shot the season before euros 2016 then that tournament finished him off and he never recovered. Wasted wage for a club like spuds.

Apparently he has taken a massive pay cut to be there. Must be hoping Lloris is off or has a niggling injury.
If he gets his confidence back then he is brilliant, but it's been so long it has to be more than just a confidence thing.

Keepers very rarely come back to their best when they have a long run of bad form.

Solid keeper ruined by Pep by destroying his confidence because he can't play out. Rings a bell....

He was done before pep turned up in fairness. That summer of the euros pep arrived and seen enough of Hart to know he weren't for him.

Still gotta get teams playing the way he does though. Helps that he got the players he do but still can't be easy.
