just read warburtons article on the new signing.
talks about how the player needs developing and is raw.
so, we have just punked 2mil on a player that needs developing and he does not know if the player will succeed in the championship.
this stinks of the postman signing.
hope it all works out well for the club but, i have serious doubts over this.

I wonder if Conor Washington is finished article by now? Developed so well with us.
Happy with this signing btw as we need a striker. Unfortunately not half of them turn out to be any good.

Will Warburton bring in another one also? Dykes and Ramkilde and ..... I fell we need three. Oteh is not good enough from what I have seem. Hogan maybe?

Just watched his first interview........seriously confused accent!  He did point out that he's actually only been playing as an out and out striker for the last year or so. Probably gives you an idea why his scoring record was underwhelming until quite recently. Negativity needs to stop now and we need to give this lad our full backing! |

Looks very similar to Hugill (gulp) but could develop. Then again everyone had a hard on for CWash and that was a like a slowmo car crash.
Boy has the makings of an old style 9 - a role which warburton originally claimed was surplus to his requirements - and if you're going to play one of those you have to have service.

Yes, we should give the guy time but Hits does make a fair point - 2m is a huge gamble for this club. I wouldn't cross the road to watch Scottish football so we really have no pointers about him and 4 years seems excessive for someone who may well turn out to be another postman. I really hope they've pulled one out of the hat and I suppose getting Amos cheap balances it out a bit.
