Warbs even said as much in his interview the day before we announced the signing. As such, if that was one of the add-ons structured in the deal then we knew very well it was coming! |

It's a great signing IMO especially if what I heard was true in that Brighton were really interested in signing Dykes If he do well here then I'm sure they be back with more interest as they not afraid to spend decent fees on champ players |

I went a Scotland v. Israel game many moons ago when I was in Glasgow. The Scots chanted "We fucking hate the English" for the entire match!.. Which was nice.  |

I once walked into a pub in Cowdenbeath and was immediately confronted by a 5' old women who fronted up to me and said.."I bet you're fucking English!" I said I was.....she then said "I bet you're fucking catholic as well!" Luckily everyone was pissed and and a good night was had by all. I like the Scots. Good people. |

Don't think so. He limped about for 2 or 3 mins before he was subbed. Could be wrong, but it almost looked he was clutching his lower back when he came off.

Just watched his interview and never mentioned his injury so lets hope he is ok. Very hard worker and think Chair will benefit him playing in the team.

Bitter sweet watching Dykes last night. Best player on the pitch for Scotland in both of their games this week and scored a good centre forwards goal. The pundits and commentators also seemed in agreement that he is a player with huge potential.
He limped off with a half hour to go though. Didn't look like anything serious, more like he'd probably just played a bit more football this week than he was ready for. Not a great sign seeing as he is our only genuine first team out and out striker, and the games will come even quicker than normal in the Championship this season.
Warburton and the board need to pull out all the stops now. We'll ruin this kid if we can't bring in anyone capable of sharing the striking responsibilities with him.
