Just read on Sky Sports that the new proposed owner of Charlton a Danish bloke based in the US looked at potentially buying us and Sunderland before settling on Charlton.
I wonder if TF and co would sell the club and how much they would want to recoup.
Interesting to read he had spoken with us anyway!

Interesting.
The very fact that he cited us as a possible target suggests to me that the current owners might be eyeing an exit strategy. Otherwise we wouldn't have been on the shopping list in the first place. The world has changed since Uncle first came to play, and his own fortunes outside of the club have taken a downturn.
A supporters buy out still looks like an impossible option, but at least a change of ownership is not totally out of bounds. I'm amazed that anyone is still considering the purchase of any EFL club in these challenging times, but its good to know someone has been sniffing around.

When you look at some of the individuals who are looking to take over football clubs nowadays I think it was a miracle that Paladini managed to get the F1 guys involved at Rangers. Whatever your opinion of him or them there is no doubt we were lucky to have them takeover. No issues with money and allowed us to actually come back from the dead.

Not many recent examples of new owners having positive impact on clubs. Charlton, Wigan, Sheff Wednesday, Birmingham, Villa (before last purchase) reading Huddersfield and that’s just out league. Treading water at best
Unless Amit gets his hands on us I predict if TF etc do ever sell club we will be in administration within 5 seasons

Imagine where we could be if those boys of stayed They were a pair of wankers with no interest in the club. Only when they fucked off and allowed Amit as Chair to let Neil manage the team did we thrive that promotion season.. They then refused to sell to the Mittals, starved Neil of money during the close season, and sold to TF when the season started meaning money was released late and poor signings made that window at mad wages.

Every club has its price and probably went to Charlton as our owners wanted to much money
