Forest got rid a lot sooner too. He only lasted 9 months there. I would sooner we don't hold Forest up as an aspiration. Basket case of a club. Their fans turned on him pretty quick CCJ. My Rangers supporting pal reckons he is a dud and that was even when we were buzzing last season.

I'm just saying Forest are no example. They sack more managers than us.

Not worried in the slightest Croys, but I throw it straight back to you. Make a solid case to delay any further. You've not done so yet other than clutch at the odd straw imo. That doesn't mean I don't respect your view if you think the time hasn't yet arrived.

For me he is still in credit for being manager whilst I've witnessed some of the best football I've seen us play for years. He's then had to reduce the wages of the club further, sell our best player and lose the loan players who provided most of our goals. We've got lots of new players in, we've seen youth players come through as well so I believe he needs more time. I am worried about a drop in confidence but I’ve seen we are capable of some great stuff and there are narrow margins in this league. Also, I just don't like keep changing managers. If we continue st a point a game I accept he will have to go but I'd give him another 4 or 5 games personally.

It's fair and reasoned even if I no longer share your faith in him. I wouldn't object greatly to giving him 4 or 5 more games but just can't see it making any difference, much as I'd love to be proved wrong.

But we are dealing with the here and now and there is nothing to suggest he is capable of turning it around especially as he has proven to be a manager that can play only one way.

Cheers lads. I do share a lot of posters concerns and I accept results can't carry on as they have been but I hope I have explained why I personally would give him a bit longer.
Have a great Christmas and let's hope 2021 is a much better year.

I would probably have been in Croydon camp as Warbs was my first choice and feel he’s done some good stuff with limited resources. My view we should remove him and Les. The facts are that in 2020 we’ve got 46 points from last 40 games. Somethings not right. We’re not trying anything different. You can’t just plough on getting beat doing the same thing.

He needs to seriously ask himself if we have the players to successfully play the way he wants - Dykes is no Hugill for a start - and if we don't he has to adapt or accept he's not the man for our job. I remain confused, if Les brings in the players then I have a little sympathy but if MW identifies who he wants then the buck stops there.

IMO,He is not good enough on tactics, etc.. And the fact that we don`t practise defensive work tells it all. Not saying he will get sacked, I think the club will stick with him regardless the outcome of this season. A bit on a sidenote, When he came here, I thought he was top notch and quite funny, but from the moment he started to have a go at the supporters he somewhat lost me.

Loads of people saying we should go for Slaven Bilic...while he's a good manager, I don't think there's any way he'd touch us with a barge pole, not with barely any budget for transfers.

He's the only one I'd seriously consider out of all the names mentioned here. Either him or go foreign.

People on facebook are suggesting Karl Robinson? He was a promising coach many years ago, but nothing has really happened for him imo.

Don´t know if he is a hidden gem exactly, but just thought about the Danish league, and if we have any candidates, and thought David Nielsen of AGF Aarhus might suit us. AGF has been a madhouse for many years, but has stabilised since he came through their door, and are performing pretty well with the available resources. He is a former forward, who seems to be a pragmatic tactician, and a down to earth character, but still with a lot of temper and energy on the sideline during games. He has even played a few years at championship level with Grimsby, Wimbledon and Norwich in the early noughties, so should be able to adapt. Yes I know it won´t happen...

Should have sacked Warburton two weeks ago when Big Sam was still available. You change like the wind I think there was a touch of sarcasm there Bill😂 No way would Sam Allardyce have come here as it was inevitable a Prem job would come up. Sky said he's on a 7 figure bonus to keep WBA up - can't see us paying anyone £10m for half a season. Shows how much money is in the game at top level.

Would go for Pearson to steady the ship till the end of the season to preserve our status in the championship. Would then go all out for Howe or Bowyer for next season as this manager has guaranteed us a tough 2nd half to this season just a question now of how tough? This is it give it to him till end of year with a contract at the end of the season if it's working i do not dislike Warbs but it isn't working at all atm The owners need to aim higher and get their AMBITION back for the club 😂😂😂😂
