Pearson would probably mean more trouble. Not sure what Uwe Røsler is doing now, he could be an option..A bit oldfashioned perhaps.

Fact remains he has tried nothing different with the hand he's been dealt. He can't say the squad isn't up to it when he hasn't even tried two up front or given Kelman or Bettache a run. He'd get a lot of sympathy if he changed something looking for a better way, instead he talks bollocks and inspires no confidence.

However you look at it or if you like him or not because of some of the football played in the last season and a half the fact remains we do not win games of football and the longer we keep him the more unlikely it will change for the better.

He has failed everywhere he`s been, so what are they waiting for? Div. 1 is not easy to get out of.

Howe is well out of our league Inclined to agree but also see the point of at least asking. Where can he go? Sheff Utd maybe, not Burnley again and looks like things have settled at Foolham. He's not top drawer so why not try it. There's always Watford I suppose, they're overdue a change😁 And I thought I was joking about Watford. They really are bizarre.

Surely worth at least asking Eddie Howe.

Danny Cowley came across well on the tv last night as well. Actually mentioned Stoke now playing to a plan B due to injuries. How lucky they are!!

Is Slaven Bilic realistic? I’d go all out for him or Howe

I do agree. This year is the year to get out of it, imo. Not so much pressure from fans etc. Excatly. And I hope we get a new manager in with fresh ideas and authority next time. Now that is. It it wasn`t for his temper, I would say that joey Barton and his nr.2 Clint Hill would fit that bill given how we have to deal with the Covid situation. I watched Joey Barton side Fleetwood in last seasons play offs and they played some lovely attacking football..there may well be some other Managers in the lower leagues with a similar outlook on attacking football but with a more sensible emphasis on the defence doing the basics first.

Have a listen to Nedum interview on how Barton behaved. I’d rather give it the job to Big Bird.

Free up the best part of 1 million a year by getting rid of The D.O.F and the ambassador and his ill fitting suit and recruit a decent manager with the money.

Ned did say he was disruptive and was derogatory about the club whist in France but did say he a big influence in getting us up. im not in favour in handing Joey the job though.

I just don’t think we should even mention the guy. He was a cancer on our club. He destroyed the team that Warnock created....including Warnock.

OK Slaven mate, you're getting £X to sit on your arse, we'll offer you 50% of X to come and manage a shit show and maybe ruin your reputation. Deal or no Deal? I wouldn't mind him but can't see it myself. Trouble is we're not an attractive project for anyone proven.

The Cowley brothers were analysed indept in an article I read on Total football analyse.com - and I must say they play a bit more positive foootball than many give them credit for. I liked their use of a 4-2-3-1 / 4-4-1-1 formation. Not sure how others on here rate Danny Cowley..

Couldn't be any worse Shania but I can hear it now for Wild Thing - Club Legend ("will keep fans on our side") - knows this league(1) - used to operating on a limited budget - can work with players from lower or non leagues - exciting younger manager - great opportunity to revive sleeping giant - gave 100% as a player so will inspire same in others...... Always a Ranger of course.
