Warburton not going anywhere by the sounds of it. Also saying "We" will have to do Shrewd business in January if doing anything at all...

Even though I still think MW is one of the worst managers ever at this club due to his schoolboy tactics and his inability to bring in decent players I’m starting to feel sorry for him.as he now looks a beaten man... because he never stood a chance with that lot cowering behind him.

Agree to a degree in the sense that the plying squad is full of cowards but I struggle to feel sorry for someone who is so stubborn and refuses to address the glaringly obvious issues. He’s his own worst enemy

I’d go for Pearson personally. These little darlings need a reality check but he wouldn’t work under the regime at qpr. That’s the root of the problem, that’s the poison that needs cutting out. Tony needs to find a buyer and we need a total restructure from the top down. Trouble is who wants to buy a football club Haemorrhaging the amount of money we are every month. I still don’t get the financial side of it personally, take millwall for example. This season aside they always punch above their weight on a tight budget whilst we skulk around feeling sorry for ourselves. Don’t even get me started on Brentford who have absolutely humiliated us in regards to how a club should be run. We’re a decent club with a loyal fan base, why is it we attract such astronomical helmets. A club that finishes 15th-20th year in tear out is paying a dof 600k a year to consistently fail at his job. £11,500 a week to fuck up. It’s staggering

Been saying all this for years now. How many times have we been here before?
There is absolutely no way anyone credible is going to come here and work with the structure in place.
Uncle needs to give any new appointment total football control including final word on all market business. That's the only way we'll prosper with the current board in situ.
Problem is, I can't see them doing it.

Pearson and Clint Hill Would be top 6 club with a few signings 8 or 9 more like. Yes, I'm sure there are better performances in this squad with a bit of work but our players aren't very good. Mid table at best.

I'm sorry to disabuse people but Hoos is a just a mouthpiece, he is part of the problem here. I don't buy him for a second.
Incidentally, his departure from Leicester marked the beginning of their renaissance.

I can't see our people going for Pearson after his departure from Leicester was down to questionable remarks about the Thais wasn't it?

I don’t see why the love in with Pearson.
What has he done previously other than getting Liecester promoted then getting sacked a good few years ago.
He also appears to be a very short term appointment and a head case ?
Is he able to spot players in the loan market or freebies because that will be his remit ?

He’s limited I agree but I think we need a motivator. He’s got a pretty decent track record and I couldn’t see the club going down under him. Ideally I’d like us to scout a manager and head hunt him but we are where we are. Warburton comes across as a stats man whose soft as shit. Sometimes a group of players need a reality check and some home truths. We accept defeat too easily “ah well they have this they have that etc”. If we were getting turned over but giving 110% I don’t think we’d hear the disconnect and anger that we’re getting now. Fact is they aren’t giving 110%, they aren’t hurting like they should be, they aren’t embarrassed getting beaten on a regular basis. There’s no unity. Take bos for example, yes he’s talented but his head is elsewhere. Warbs made a right song and dance about keeping a tough stance on this ie manning but he’s just played him regardless. What does that say to the rest of the boys? Previous players have said he never runs defensive drills yet that’s our Achilles heel. I know what I’d think if I had a boss like that. He seems a bit of a pushover and I just think some discipline and some structure would do us good because I don’t think the squads half as bad as it’s performing

I see Pearson and Warburton having “some “ similar traits...both stubborn and pig headed but Pearson would definitely improve us tactically and defensively.
Warburton appears to have lost the players due to clubs stance on Bosman and lower wage structure as our team spirit is seldom talked about and importantly all of our players are clambering to leave or so it seems when their contracts run down.
When MW came here it could be looked at it was a last chance saloon for him after failing so badly elsewhere but I don’t think Pearson is at that junction yet.
To me it’s a bit strange that Sheffield Wednesday have not considered him recently when he has obvious connections as a previous player there.

I think we will end up with Paul Cook. He is a systematic/pragmatic type of manager and that could be what we need now.

If the current board and decision makers are choosing the next manager then there is no point as that have failed that test on numerous occasions over the past 5 or 6 years. I always thought this season could be the one where we fall and that was in my mind 3 or more years ago as saw then what we become now. Real shame we are in this state and not sure who we could turn to who would want to come here in the state this club is in.
