Interesting news from the club, just announced:
WHILE there remains so much uncertainly around the upcoming season in terms of access to matches for supporters, the club is keen to reassure all season ticket holders that their seats will be protected for the entirety of the 2020/21 campaign.
All fans who purchased a season ticket in 2019/20 are guaranteed they will be able to retain their seat for the 2021/22 campaign even if they do not purchase a season ticket for the current season (2020/21).
QPR CEO Lee Hoos said: “As things stand, we do not know how many fans will be allowed to attend matches or whether that initial figure will increase as the season goes on.
“With that in mind, we are working on a system which will provide complete flexibility and reassurance to all our season ticket holders.
“As we finalise those details, I want to make sure all our 2019/20 season ticket holders know that they will not lose their seats.
“Many supporters may decide that due to the uncertainty, financial challenges, health concerns, or other reasons, they don’t want to commit to a season ticket for the 2020/21 campaign.
“I understand that. We have no intention of taking money from fans who won’t be able to attend games.
“So even if you decide not to purchase a season ticket for this season, your seat will be protected for you to retain it in 2021/22.
“I would like to thank you for your support and continued patience at this unprecedented time.”
For those fans who have already purchased a 2020/21 season ticket but would now request a refund, this will also be offered.
Full details regarding this will be released across club channels next week.
