Dickie for me. Assured first competitive outing
Cleared it when needed, passed it when opportunity presented itself and defended doing basics right
Super debut

Kakay for me. Turning into a hell of a young player.

kakay for me too. thought he defended excellently against good forest wingers and got stuck in.
dykes and dickie both looked up to standard and not out of place in the championship

Dykes and Kakay both excellent. The whole back 5 were solid.
Good games for BOS and Carroll too.

Kakay closely followed by Carroll (first half) and Dykes.
Saying that Amos was class second half.

Kakay closely followed by Carroll (first half) and Dykes. Saying that Amos was class second half. Amos was played too far forward first half. He did more in the short time between being moved back and subbed than he had done all match. Warburton has to decide where to use him and stick to it or he'll be forever marmite. Not fair on the guy. Carroll had a great first half then disappeared. Happy to put this down to lack of match fitness at the moment but I do have a nagging worry that disappearing from games is exactly what he used to do. He's in his prime, only 28 and experienced, so I'm hoping it is just fitness not a problem that has put bigger clubs off over the years.

Comms were saying it was fitness as he's not played in quite a while. Makes sense so more inclined to think that's all it is. Very different player now to the one we had 7 years ago.

I like him, not knocking him, just wouldn't have him hanging around behind Dykes - not his game.

I like him, not knocking him, just wouldn't have him hanging around behind Dykes - not his game. but he was not there to hang around Dykes He’s getting rave reviews elsewhere which I thought was bit OTT as I thought he had steady game, nothing spectacular, but done what he was there to do
