Clear as mud. Only thing that is clear is that if you haven't yet renewed for this season, even if you've had a season ticket for years, you ain't going in the ballot. What a kick in the bollocks.

if you're on the direct debit scheme you are still considered an ST holder though. the ballot is for ST holders only. idk how else they could do it, maybe have 150 tickets avaliable for members that are non ST holders that go into a second ballot? but even then you'd have like 8k people clamouring for 150 tickets

Clear as mud indeed.
I do not presently intend to enter the match ballot because I'm not going until normality returns; I'm going to watch games online. The advice is to cancel the ST, but if I keep the ST, don't attend matches, but enter 50 percent of ballots, but don't go, I would receive a lot least a 50 percent refund...?
If I should I seek a refund, anyone know how I will watch games online?

Will post back with the club's response.

Yes, Wests is right. Club's reply is as follows:
"For games that a STH is successful in the ballot and they don’t attend those games, no refund would be payable. To qualify for refunds for missed games a STH must enter at least 50% of the ballots.
If a full refund is requested, then the stream can be purchased through the normal means."

Thanks Stan. Apparently If you give up the st and normality resulted
"If you decide to come back later in the season you are welcome to come back to your own seat paying for your ticket on a pro-rata basis (e.g. if eight games are left, you will pay for the remaining eight games of the season)".
Makes sense then, if not entering the ballot/ not attending games until normality resumes, to cancel a ST and pay £10 for streamed games. Right? £230 v £500 odd? But if paying for ST and not entering ballot do you still get 50 percent refund toward next season ticket?

What I can't work out, Stanley, is this.
If paying for ST, entering/ not entering ballot, not physically going, do you still get 50 percent refund toward next season ticket? Then you're paying 50 percent of the ST for 100 percent of the streams. With 50 percent you can put toward ST 21-22. And without the hassle of buying streaming tickets every week.

Seems a fair question, 77. I've asked them that and will get back to you.
