We seem to have in recent times a bit of a reputation for young players coming through(not sure if it is warrented) and i'm not too clued up on the under 23's/18's. We clearly have problems at the back and other positions so why aren't we giving some young hungry players a chance? Surely we have someone better than the likes of wallace etc or young fast wingers who could make the jump up. I apprieciate that the championship is a very tough lge to play in and you need experience but if other clubs can do it why can't we? Often it is said that you can push young players to quick and it can damage them but with no crowds in the stadiums to get on their backs could it be a time to give them a chance? Thoughts....?

Perhaps it maybe easier to give our younger players a chance if we had a natural leader playing in our side...if your good enough then your old enough in my book.

The 2 players on the fringes at the moment who I believe may genuinely improve the first team are Seny Dieng and Niko Hamalainen.

Because the second they have a bad game fans are on them like a rash. Younger players can't handle the pressure as well as more seasoned players imo.

So now is their chance, playing in empty stadiums. They would have to stay off anti-social media too of course, but that's sensible for anyone really.

Now would be a great chance to get younger players onto the pitch without the added pressure of the fans giving them grief.

They would be only a cple of the players i know of at that level and i'm sure they will get their chance soon but imo young players are quite fearless and have a point to prove so why not throw them in to see.

You can tell them til you're blue in the face to stay off it but the majority won't listen unfortunately.

i remember hearing a fair bit about charley kendall a few years back. seemed to be banging them in for the u18s but gone off the radar a bit now. this season is make or break for shodipo though, he's always showed flashes of quality but then ends up injured plus never really impresses when he does start. we do have eze's younger brother in the academy though
