Klopp leaving Liverpool at the end of the season!
If we get relegated, could be just the guy to get us out of League 1...

Kalvin Phillips, hugely overrated and never a City player. Interesting take on the DOF idea. Manager just doesn’t bother playing him and DOF has to accept defeat. there system has got way more right then wrong so think it’s actually evidence the system does work overall.

Agree, but if you’ve got a top man like Guardiola he’s going to have the final say at times. They wanted to get rid of Bernardo Silva but Pep wanted to keep him and he ends up staying on an improved contract.

Klopp leaving Liverpool at the end of the season! If we get relegated, could be just the guy to get us out of League 1... Why go public now if “I don’t want the remainder of the season to be about me.” Of course it will be. A massive distraction.

A massive distraction. assuming it would come out as soon as they start approaching new managers which they are probably going to have to start now so can’t see they had any choice other then to go public.

Not convinced about that. If they want Alonso it will all have to be with the permission of Leverkusen so they’ll want to keep all that quiet anyway.

Come on Al What about when they look for manager and people say where is alonso going. How many people down chain and sworn to secrecy.

He told them in November so it’s possible they already have someone. Clever comment from DeZerbi - under contract until ‘26 but he said his focus is on the rest of THIS season.

I wouldn’t bet against them having new guy sorted already that’s why he can go public now. They usually appoint managers without a fuss.

I think he let it slip being interviewed the other day. Alonso probably a better option though and they always liked a bit of continuity in the past. Won’t be Gerrard!

I don’t rate him as a top keeper Timmy, he played his part in all 3 goals. From what I’ve seen of Liverpool number 2 keeper Kelleher looks a bit special imo.

Chelsea 🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣 Well in Gary O Neill you legend They are bang in trouble if they do not sell players by June 30th to help balance the books. Gallagher, James and Broja are the ones to generate the most money. If they do not they could get a much bigger points deuction than Everton. Keep up the fine work Poch and more importantly Boehly.

He just had a bad day and he doesn’t have many. The mix up with Van Dijk was entirely his fault, the defender had shielded the forward from the ball really well, keeper only had to block and clear. That said I’d pick City keeper over him.

Therefore when Alisson tried to kick the ball he hit van Dijk's hip.
