so whats "jeezes" about it? i'm not suggesting that beale has lost the fans or pissed people off (to a major degree anyway) but he hasn't won the fans over yet as he's only been here a short while so still needs to build up goodwill. dropping dykes is an absolute priority especially after last night, if he starts with him on saturday then it'll be akin to shooting himself in the foot and would cause people to be up in arms, especially after beale has gone on record saying people have to earn the shirt. he could easily play roberts or armstrong up top and leave dykes out. Ok. Let`s hope Beale changes his mind then. |

He’s shit end of. As stated many times. Hardly wins a header. When he does goes nowhere. Can’t shoot. Never gets shots off and if he does they’re piss poor. Same again last night. Only GK to beat and he rolls one across the grass. Second opportunity he’s 5 yards onside yet he’s so lacking in football knowledge he stops as he thinks he’s offside giving the GK the time to come and smother. He’s fucking useless. Can’t trap a ball. Doesn’t play players in. Doesn’t make runs into the right areas and gives defenders the easiest games they’ll ever have. I genuinely can’t stand the cunt. He reeks of big time Charlie to me with the silly fucking tattoos all over him. Get rid of the wanker and use the money to bring in someone with at least 7 brain cells. More like a striker with clear limitations imo. But will he be sold and replaced ? No, It doesn`t look like it. |

Listening to the same podcast with LF. He was also asked if you could bring a player from an old QPR team to the new one he answered Andy Sinton, so that he could put some better crosses onto Dykes' head.
I found this reply quite telling because MB said very similar when discussing Dykes and the need to play more to his strengths.
IMO the inference in both MB and LF's comments here is that they're fully aware of Dykes limitations as a footballer and the only way to get him scoring more consistently is get a better standard of crossing in to him. But I definitely get the sense that their patience is wearing very thin with him.

It’s a very fair point about service but he could have had a hat trick against Boro’ and he was hopeless at converting. Been going on for too long now. Westy’s right in another post, only so much you can coach, there has to be something natural.
