Joelinton was voted worst premier league striker before moving into a more withdrawn MF role, yesterdays game at Cardiff showed he’s capable of similar imo.

If it's really true that most of the Dykes votes were protest or wind ups then according to the poll the actual worst ever is Stefan Moore, followed by Mark Hateley, then Brett Angell then Steve Slade I would add frustration to the list of reasons, which is tough on Dykes but let’s not get too rose-tinted about it. He fully deserves his place on the list because a handful of half decent performances in three years isn’t good enough - and the patience of the fans has been amazing.

Early days I agree, but he was one of very few that still had something left in the tank, I was actually impressed with his performance yesterday, he laid off some well directed flick ons to Armstrong and looked a player yesterday.

Odd as he was kind of playing up top and midfield. Whatever it was he put a shift in and was decent enough.

i think if lyndon suits that sort of role. it was like a weird kind of target man/AM/CM sort of dynamic that suits his style of play. its not flashy but you can see the shift he put into the team by opening up space and buying other players time to get back into position.
lyndon doesn't like defenders and often loses any duel he has with them but against more lightweight midfielders he seemed to be much more better.
all the more reason that we need another striker imo.
really glad for sinclair too, we finally played him to his strengths and gave him things to run onto. he's still such a raw talent but if he can be properly coached to rely on his physical attributes more then there's no reason why he can't be a prem player one day.

In Scotland squad for Cyprus and England games.
Not surprised seems to be a pattern here.
Fit for Scotland but not us.

In his defence he's not picked himself.
Steve Clarke would go to QPR requesting him. If unfit, QPR can state that and them and Scotland would discuss.
Maybe he's almost fit and this will give him well needed game time = fitness?
Don't see the big issue myself.

With 3 out out of our next 4 games being at home the onus will probably be on us to show more of an attacking intent in some of the games.
Kolli looks a versatile player and could play in a similar withdrawn RMF role that Dykes played at Cardiff, again he also showed at Boro he capable of winning a fair share of aerial flick on’s for Armstrong to run onto.
To find a place for Kolli or Dykes with Armstrong could mean either just 2 CBs or losing one of Field,Colback or Dozzell.

Don’t mean he will remain in squad. Is protocol not that he turns up is assessed by the Scot’s medical team and sent away if unfit. He’s in the squad but might be out of it just as quick if not fit.
Don’t think they simply accept club saying not fit anymore as some many liberties have been taken in the past. Ainsworth did say he was in grass in recent interview so he can’t be that far away. If he is fit not against him getting match fit on their watch so we benefit when we return.
Do get the frustration as it’s not first time this has happened with him.
