Been talked about for years, that's why they changed European Cup format. Will happen in some form and probably kill off Champions League.

And other national leagues. So be it. We can relaunch the league with four divisions without those leeches. American money involved now, so way more likely to happen. |

I could be wrong though. I think it will be the death of the Champions League, so in that respect not too much changing. Unless I have it totally wrong and they are all pissing off to their own league. |

Radio report just now suggesting they will still participate in the PL.
I wonder if that means they’ll play their first 11 in the super league and treat the PL the same way as the Carabo/fa cup, blooding youngsters.

Can’t see how it’s possible to participate in two different leagues. Different with cups as that’s knockout, so that argument immediately falls down.

Champions league is league format to start with, it used to be two league formats before knockout
Sounds like this replaces UEFA competition for a FIFA one
Interesting thing here is not Prem clubs being involved but potential clash between UEFA and FIFA could it be the end of uefa??
