QPR is all about signing the right sort of "character" these days. Do you reckon he'd meet that criteria? surely we can carry one unpredictable player? I'd have signed him. Couldn't see the club sanctioning it though with their current policy.

Dont think we're all that but we're better than this.
There's a natural 4-3-3 in that squad. There's also a 4-4-2 diamond with Willock (10) at the top end of it.
You can't play Wallace, Cameron, Barbet or Carrol anywhere except bench and you stick with DIENG / KAYKAY - DICKIE - CM - NIKKO, they have the makings of a back line.
Hal, you´ve had it in for Warbs from the get go, so can´t take that serious. If he played what you suggest, you´d say he was shit anyway.
If we start winning football matches on a regular basis, I would always support whoever was overseeing that process. Him included.

Despite playing Dykes and Bonne up front together with Albert/Willock and BOS as wingers we created very little.
Both Dykes and Bonne looked very static in their movement off the ball.and were often found to be surrounded by defenders due to us continually playing meaningless short passes when in possession.
As said by others our build up play is much too slow/predictable and is the real answer to why we look so toothless in the final third.

Yes, mainly back and forth across the backline, waiting for non-existent movement ahead of them. Cannon and Ball didn't provide that yesterday, and that's not LTC's strength either. CM is our main area of weakness now.

Having Barbet and Dickie as ball playing C/Backs should in theory allow quicker distribution to our M/F and forward players.
I personally would not play either Cameron or Ball as both struggle to link up play consistently and are unable to get up and support play further up the pitch.
Looking at the team photo yesterday Bettache looks light weight to replace Cameron and Ball but it’s clear that Chair needs more help from elsewhere.

Thought first half down the right we were very active getting ball in
What shone yesterday is that two of our creative players (chair and BOS) fail to deliver the ball into the box with any regularity or consistency. While that continues we will struggle to create opportunities. Can’t blame the strikers if they get no service in the business end of the pitch
The game changers now need step up like defence has

He doesn't set up a team to transition rapidly and if you can't do that these days no amount of lateral passing will make up for it.

While that continues we will struggle to create opportunities. Can’t blame the strikers if they get no service in the business end of the pitch I agree, but that's only part of the equation. Goals are created through the middle as well as from wide play. We at least have decent wingers now in Willock, Adomah and BOS. What we lack is anyone to pull the strings in the middle of the park. Defence splitting passes; movement, making runs, pulling players out of position etc. We have no one currently doing this. Thomas and Bettache are potentially these kind of players but they've barely featured so far. Nor is it yet working out with Chair there.
