That team of Harry/Ramsey took a lot of stick but were they as bad as made out and as mercenary as described?
I see Huddersfield could drop today, they have 14points and Fulham place above 17. We went down with 30points and got slammed by all quarters. Neither of the above will come close to 30points and Fulham spent 100mil for the grand total of 4wins
When you look back that side was more competitive then these two sides and but for two more wins might have stopped up

Always liked Granero. Classy player.
Barton, Cisse, Remy. Plus the core of the promotion winning team - Taarabt, Hill, Derry. Even Mackie and Buzsaky had their moments. Ale was doing well too, until his injury.
Should have stuck with Kenny, and obviously Warnock as manager, then I’m sure we could have survived and consolidated our PL position.
Just badly run and managed sadly.

Was a real shame the takeover was so close to deadline day. Think the team and our fortunes would have been very different if Warnock had been given more time in the transfer market. But then again you never know, we may have ended up with SWP anyway, or perhaps they would have sacked Neil and hired Hughes from the get go.

To be honest mate, I think Fernandes and his cronies were destined to fail, regardless of the the timing of it all. My big regret is that the sale to the Mittals never went through a few months earlier. The Mittals money, spearheaded by Amit with Warnock as manager would have been ideal for us. Wasn't to be though!
