If they are going to make a change I'd rather it was a proper change not shuffle the pack and appoint someone who has been party to what hasn't worked. Look at the difference McLaren has made at Derby.

If MW is removed soon it would be fair to say Eustace would be odds on to at least be Caretaker Manager or even permanent ?
I would not be in favour of this even as Caretaker..in his previous stint he did nothing to show he has the tools to improve things.
Norwich away a couple of seasons ago springs immediately to mind and his comments later about our players having a losing mentality don’t fill me with confidence in his ability to lift our current players.
Do we even think our owners have even thought about replacing the DOF and MW ?
I would say no.

This ownership has done so much damage that it will take 15 years plus to get it right again. MW is not going to do anything other than say the right things and get the wrong results. "The players are not good enough" is their main argument. The "How good is the championship" thread pretty much destroys that argument. I'm all for a good debate but let's at least keep it a decent one. Squad is easily good enough for a comfortable mid-table position. Just very poorly drilled and really don't look up for it in games anymore, which comes down to management and coaching. But this is only reflective and symptomatic of the overall poor running of the club. It's pointless (and very tedious) always looking at the symptoms if you never address their root causes. |

And I hope we get a new manager in with fresh ideas and authority next time. Now that is. It it wasn`t for his temper, I would say that joey Barton and his nr.2 Clint Hill would fit that bill given how we have to deal with the Covid situation. |

Really hate saying it but I can see us sticking with MW until it's too late then bring in Ainsworth "who's taken Wycombe as far as he can" blah, blah... I reckon we already need 4 or 5 points from next three games and if we reduce the season to a high percentage of must win games MW won't have a clue. Forest and Derby are on the move and you certainly wouldn't put it past Pulis to get Wednesday going. All I want for Christmas is to be completely wrong😁
