I think that's just canniness and kidology Bill. No his facial expression in pre match interviews tells me he talks the opposition up and players must feel 1-0 down before entering the pitch I wouldn't read too much into his facial expressions. He's just playing the media. His facial expressions and what he tells his team in the dressing room will be very different. The players know that too. Team spirit seems fine in the squad.

Not really. Derby are bang average, yes. That doesn't mean it wasn't an excellent win for us on their patch, with a young side, clean sheet, and with a squad that cost a fraction of theirs! Why should cost come into the equation Why should it not, more like!

thought we were solid throughout the game. neither team really deserved the win but i'm glad we got it lol.
dickie and niko both looked great at the back. dickie is such a fucking improvement on some of the defenders we've had in recent years, so composed and organized and will be a prem player one day for sure. niko always seemed to be there to clear or intercept, doesn't look out of place in the slightest. thing is, i want to be nervous when i see him play but he's not let us down yet lol.
warbs is turning it round and tonights win will massively ease pressure off him. fair play for sorting it out.
we have to iron out the sloppy passing and touches though, its the same mistakes every game.

No. It's an educated guess! He might not be the greatest manager but he's certainly no fool, that much is obvious. He's experienced at handling the media. But you obviously dislike the guy, so it seems there's no reasoning with you! 😜

Having worked in dressing rooms at Rangers for 15 years and met numerous managers he does not strike me as a manager who could really bollock anyone

What managers did you meet during your time Bill? Any opinions on them that we may not have already known? Just genuinely curious thats all, you'll have had a unique perspective on them compared to us lot.

Bill, clearly you have already written him off. That much is obvious. So nothing really more to discuss, right?! 🙂

Great win considering some poor subs and carrying at least 2 players Poor subs? Ball was excellent as usual and had a good impact, Willock looks like a player to me and Bonne scored the winner. Can we have some more poor subs please.

Great result and thought the keeper and Dickie were especially good. Lovely cross and finished well by Bonne to nick the 3 points.

Didn't watch again last night. Was out for a pre-lockdown meal with the family.
Starting to think that maybe I'm the problem. Should I continue to refrain from watching our games live?

I thought Hamalainen played a very good match yesterday and Kane has improved defensively also I thought.

Just genuinely curious thats all, you'll have had a unique perspective on them compared to us lot. Jim Smith now he was a tough nut. He really knew how to bollock a player, did not take any prisoners. Yet outside the dressing room a real gent. Ron Atkinson who liked a drink.Went to get him a bottle of brandy before one game, cost all down to rangers as came from one of the lounges upstairs.End of the game bottle in the dressing empty, asked Bryan Robson about it yea he has 1 bottle most games.

Brian Clough really nice guy but in the dressing room became different animal. I remember 1 game against Forest,he kept shouting at Stuart Pearce to stand still on the half way line,I think Cloughie had a few and Pearce turned to him and told him fuck off....so funny but he certainly let Pearce have it at half time!

Alex Ferguson arrogant piece of shit. Met him quite a few times, nasty piece of work but certainly got results. In the officials ear the whole game, they called it Fergie time which cost us relegation.7 bloody minutes,no way but he somehow used to intimidate them from the dugout.

Clough was also good with the mind games. Once at Forest they were 2 down at half time. The team go into the dressing room, expecting a bollocking, but Clough didn't turn up, then when the rang the bell to go out for the second half, Clough pokes his head round the dressing room door and says 'sorry lads, first half was my fault, I picked the wrong team'. He didn't make any changes, and Forest went onto to win 3-2.

Can we have some more poor subs please. It is documented earlier in the thread why I posted this. When Bos got injured did not check to see if he was ok and sent on Ball and Bonne.Bos wentdown again made sub and with 20 mins to go did not have a sub to pull Cameron who was puffing out of his arse. Yes we won but could have been different. Ball should start in front of Cameron and Bonne other than the goal did fuck all else.

Thought MAGA Geoff had his best game for us this season last night. Especially as he had been up all night cheering on The Donald.
