So a game I would hope we will get something from.
They have scored less and let in more goals then us so suggests sides are pretty evenly matched but at same time if we keep it tight, cut out mistakes/pens we will get few chances so need to take them
They have the second worst home record in the league and have not won at home this season scoring one and letting in eight. We have not won away so surely something has to give

I'll be very happy with an ugly point as this has 'send for QPR' written all over it, and that would be a shame after the Cardiff finish.

All depends on what players MW selects as our best Eleven to win against a poor looking Derby side.
Half expecting Wallace to replace Nico and Barbet and Kane to keep their places meaning I would ask “why would you do that “

Ball for Cameron. If it's not the same team following a win why would you not do that?

"As a team we defend, as a team we attack" still the mantra:

The 'rise together, fall together' ideal is all very well when talking about the odd error like Masterson's as we're all human but it becomes a free pass to serial under achievers or clowns like Barbet who get selected whatever. Kane played his best game for us having been demoted.

I can understand the reason to keep playing a winning team with certain exceptions but It can be of no surprise that Cardiff appeared to concentrate their attacks down our right hand side probably due to Todd Kane being selected to play in a false position as full back
Im sure most of us agree that Kane is certainly weaker in defensive qualities than Kakay but may bring an energy and unpredictable side to our own attacking intent similar to Manning...but is not helping our solidity at the back.
If such fine margins separate most teams in this League surely just play your best players (the ones who are most likely not to let you down ) in the side until injuries or loss of form curtails it and not over complicate things.

Derby are a good team that haven't got playing yet. Hoping that they don't find their form against us.
I would take a point here; if we don't give away free kicks around the box(or pens) then we have a chance.
I think you have to keep a winning team, or at least the same starting 11 for the first half as they played so well. I would love Ball in as I like him as a player but I would be happy with same starting 11 as confidence 'should' be high.

I read that they were the better team away at Bournemouth so it would appear they are turning the corner. Unfortunately in time for this. I would happily take a point with no penalties conceded!!

And It seems like it has worked especially If Bos decides to sign a new deal.

Barbet errors are inexcusable but there is no way any excuse can be made for what materson done. That’s not an error it’s plain stupid no need for it

Which of the two has made more crucial errors overall? Barbet, no contest. AND he’s vastly more experienced, which makes it even worse. Whereas this is Masterson’s first major error for us. He’s still young and learning too so hardly fair to jump down hard on him over it.

I’m not jumping masterson he is clearly good player who has loads of potential but regardless of age/experience there is no need to do what he done when there is two defenders challenging one attacker for the ball in the air. Let’s not fall into the manning trap with this lad where we make excuses for mistakes, let’s demand and expect the best from him as he’s clearly good enough. I rate him
