James, Westy - our strikers look absolutely shot of all confidence and couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo currently. For me the manager HAS to take some of the blame for that. It's a vital part of a manager's job to instil confidence and self-belief into his players, strikers especially. you can roll a turd in glitter but it’s still a turd underneath |

bonne and dykes snatch at chances , both lack compusure , bobby reed stroked in his goal with a slight bend . our 2 would have blasted it hoping it found its way in. wont pass judgement on kelman yet

You just have to wonder what would have happened it Kelman had showed commitment and dived in to score. Win against Fulham could have set us up. |

Both players have deteriorated at QPR, there's no hiding from that fact and, for me, this is partly down to how they are being managed and coached. |

Please don't make any conclutions based on that. His club career has gone downhill ever since he joined us. Far be it from me to defend him. But also far be it from me to lay no other blame on how he's been played and managed at QPR. I think most of us are agreed on that much. And his confidence is now clearly shot to pieces which, for strikers in particular, is huge. |

Pardew is technical director of CSKA Sofia, so it was obviously just a scouting mission. He wasn't even in the director's box, so it's a bit of a dumb post.

Bonne got in some decent positions today and should really have hit a hat-trick.
Dykes played some decent passes into team mates but rarely ever looked like hitting the target with anything.
IMO, both have got the Washingtons - a severe lack of confidence and composure in front of goal. Hopefully working with one of the best Championship strikers in recent times will help somehow.

The fact that they both came to chances might be start of something good. Bettache and Thomas did also show promising signs yesterday. And as far as Bettache is concerned, I`m not even sure he should have to be sent out on a loan, IMO he is good enough to warrant a place in this team.
