Jesus. We still need every bit of quality on the park for the rest of this term. One of the very few who is actually capable of creating chances.
I really don't care what he has or hasn't done as long as he's prepared to pull on the shirt and put in his shift. And recently he has been doing just that. Maybe its a contract thing but either way this decision looks short term.
This is a poor footballing decision, fingers crossed we don't get a run of injuries.
Disagree, I think it's the right stance to take. As someone mentioned earlier, when you are working your notice your work levels do drop. If hes nakered and his man runs past him, he isn't going to bust a gut to get there as it isn't his problem. I would rather play people who are contracted to us. I aid before, id furlough the money grabber.

Two persons and personalities who think and act differently. We all love Eze and he did everything right. He loves us too. Unfortunately it seems that BOS has no feelings towards us and we were just a mere workplace for him. Of course I don't like what BOS did but that was no surprise. In other words BOS has no appreciation or respect for the club that paid his salary when he was developing from a boy to a top flight footballer? I'm just not having it mate. He's clearly either a bad egg, badly advised or just plain stupid (I suspect it's a combo of these factors myself). Let's face it, players that have gone to leagues like Turkey or China for big pay packets almost always shaft their own careers in doing so. Without meaning to sound bitter, I'd laugh my arse of if he flopped over there, just as I'm laughing my arse off at Manning warming the bench for a very average Swansea side. That's what giving it Charlie Big Potatoes and letting a greedy agent get in your ear gets you! You'd put the Turk and Chinese leagues in the same bracket?!

Absolutely the right thing to do. Personally wouldn’t even let the little cunt train anywhere near any of the clubs squads. If he wants to keep fit let him do it in his own Time. Hope they fuck him off out of the club ASAP don’t want that attitude and the way he conducts himself to have any influence on the boys that want to be here. The way he’s behaved is embarrassing

Interesting to note that Danny Ings is refusing to sign a new contract and has publicly stated that he's looking for a move. So its technically a different situation from BOS, but would Sotton put out a statement saying he wasn't going to get picked, even though some fans are upset? Would they fuck.
We're not in a position to get picky, as a glance at the table will confirm. If he helps bring the club points, and he does his job on the park (which has been doing recently), I'm not bothered by what he's done, because success needs to come first. We can all be nice and principled but it wont help us win anything.

The Turkish league is far superior in terms of the level of football. It also comes with the opportunity to play Champions League football. I'd also guess that life in Istanbul is better for a guy coming from the UK than most places in China. Where the similarities lie is they are both bad career moves for a guy that could have gone to a top Championship side or probably even a side at the bottom end of the Premier League. In moving to Turkey he's going to a place where he has got a huge challenge in picking up the language, where there are no other native English speakers in the squad and where the fans still boo black players. You've gotta ask why a 23 year old that is just starting to show signs of being a decent player, who might make it at the top level of the English game would do that. For me, it's got to be poor advice and money. Simple as that. I'd have my mortgage on it not working out and BOS being back in England within 18 months. But his agent probably knows this too and will look forward to cashing another 6 figure cheque when the inevitable happens!

He's also probably only got 1 big contract left in him given he's had a pretty serious ACL injury. He's signaling his intention to leave in the summer for what will most likely be a half decent fee. He's also probably been open and honest with Southampton about this being his intention. BOS didn't do that. He knocked back a move that would have netted the club 5 million quid last summer in favour of dicking around and pretending he gives a shit for a year, in order to secure himself a larger signing on fee. He's a weasel. I'd make him clean the toilets in the away dressing room for his salary for the next 6 months. Give the shirt to someone who wants it. Not somebody that has treated the club with complete contempt!

Bos leaves here without a shred of decency or dignity. Not that a bellend like him will care but as far as I’m concerned he can go and fuck himself. Absolute rat

Yeah I made a point of saying it was different to the Ings thing, although the very fact that he's kicking off with 18 months left = he's looking for an exit strategy ASAP. Ask his agent. re Greg - Yeah he's dicked us around. Me, I'd pick a rat if I thought it would help us win football matches. Which I always thought was kind of the point. I look at his recent form and I see him doing a job on the park. It''s that simple for me because we're so thin on the ground right now.

We'll see in a few hours but I still maintain to not play him. Give people who will/shoud be here next season to play; at least we'll know if they are good enough.

Got a result without him and we should consider him left already unless we are in desperate need as this bloke cannot be relied on to give 100% to the team. Players like that deserve not to play or be involved with the first team in any capacity.

Shouldn't be let near the club if he's not playing. Every time he's seen around at training will be awkward and give out a negative vibe.

fener apparently want to do a swap deal for BOS this window. either mauricio lemos, a CB or kemal ademi, a striker coming in exchange for BOS. by all accounts its a take it or leave it kind of deal as they don't want to pay 750k for BOS. wish they came in with that offer a week ago

Unless those mentioned are any good it should be a no as taking players on means a commitment in salary for what minimum of two years?? So him leaving could end up costing us if we take on players who don’t benefit us medium term.

I wonder how much the club were after before this happened, if we were to sell in Jan? I would be asking Fenerbache for that and saying he wont be playing so he'll be super un fit and not ready and lose 6 months of development.
Even stick in reserves and risk a mjore injury. He cant be on big wages so wont affect us. But if we wanted x amount then we should insist on that, or sod them. Otherwise it looks like "BOS, sign a contract now and then we'll buy you in Jan for next to nothing anyway"

Best thing for us and glad we managed to get rid of him now as no use keeping a character like him when we are in this position.

It will be interesting to see pictures of his Kipper when he’s on the subs bench or when they stop paying him.

Great. Try to get someone in and focus on players who are here and try to stay in this division.
