Same old story with the subs last night..it’s always a like for like sub..what’s the point of having players on the bench like Bettache and Kellman if they are not used to mix it up..the last twenty mins was crying out for someone like Kellman to be utilised. Then he has the cheek to say we need to utilise the squad to reduce injuries and fatigue..he’s full of wind and piss with his comments. I just about bring myself to watch us right now and that is a sad state to be in. I see this guy as being pointless in every field and just do not understand how he is still in the job.

Know how you feel. I'd watch us in the Southern League, or whatever they call it now, but it is so frustrating just to keep pressing the repeat button. It makes no sense not to try something different.

Stoke was bossing the game but after the substitutions we were better sidw again.

Last season we kept six clean sheets. Stoke was our sixth clean sheet this season. Clear improvement but all moaners ignore this.

Bonne was livelier than Dykes. Agreed. The one bright spark tonight. Chair had an excellent game and we defended well so there is two more for you.

Over 100 goals conceded since he took over and we should be doing cartwheels because of a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw?

In what way were we the better side ?
How many shots did we have ?
We could have played till Xmas and still not created a decent opportunity.
You seem happy with a point from a poor performance dictated from a poor Manager and selections but I’m not.

Its very interesting that anyone pointing out the few plus points are seized upon with comments like "are you happy... etc. It is possible to see plus points and not be happy you know.

Freekicks were better quality overall and he seemed touch more direct on the ball. His corners cleared the first man for a change but not sure we had any free kicks in danger areas. Struck me how disciplined Stoke defence was, staying on their feet. Would still like to see Carroll on dead balls - again, something different and worth trying.

I think that's because it's seen more as clutching at straws and excusing poor management. I'm no rose tint - I don't think we're very good, not as good a squad as some on here hope we are but they're entitled to their opinion. I don't think MW is costing us promotion or even top 10 tbh but he's not prepared to try anything different with the squad and that could very easily see us drop. Six clean sheets are all very well but a point a game won't keep us up. I don't expect to win every game but I do expect a bit more professionalism than we are seeing from just pressing repeat and coming up short time and time again.

First you say majority of our players wouldn't fit in other Championship teams. Then you claim we are underperforming. Maybe it's other way around and we are overperforming.

Going forward we have gone backwards, which was expected after losing Eze, Hugill and Wells. Which still keeps my hope alive is that we have been competitive in almost every game. And there's no sign of giving up. I believe that when the squad have a possibility to train together we will get better results.

For sure we are in a bad run of points. The goals have dried up this season and we are still poor at defending set pieces but in several games we have been defensively much better. Not just last night but Saturday as well only to be undone by that great goal late on. He was afforded too much space but it could easily have been a 1-0 win if Chairs had gone in off the post instead of across the goal or Bright had shot across the goal instead of near post. Brentford and Bristol we had very good spells where we were the dominant team. These are all teams that are near the top. It is fine margins and we are not that far off and are generally competing in most games. I realise we can't go on slipping towards the bottom but I genuinely don't think we will go down with Warbs so I still wouldn't swap him. He is a frustrating manager but most managers are stubborn, even the best ones.

He is a frustrating manager but most managers are stubborn, even the best ones. We are creating the chances, which is the positive. If we weren't then I would be more worried though I cannot say I am thrilled. We have started to defend better as well which is a massive plus and gives more to build on. I would love to see both Dykes and Bonne play up top together as I think they have the attributes to work well together. Warbs saw it wasn't working yesterday and changed it after 10 minutes. We grew back into the game and had a couple of chances. Stoke have had 6 clean sheets away from home now this season, so they aren't exactly going to make it easy for us.

Too many sensible posts now. Nothing sensible or positive about making excuses for an inept manager except for being different.

I have no reason to make an excuse for him. I think he needs to start getting results or he will be gone. I just don't know who is out there that is better than he is that we could afford.
