Just signed for Sheffield United.
Huge roll off the dice, but I suppose they have nothing to lose. Free transfer, and only a 1 year deal!

I fear that with ravel it’s a case that he won’t change. Obviously wish him the best and was great for us first time round but trouble/controversy follows him wherever he goes. Has really wasted what could have been a very special career imho

He had some great performances in the top flight for West Ham too Greg. But I'd hazard a guess if he was going to sort his act out it would have happened before now. Also not to long a trip from Sheffield to Manchester where no doubt he has some wrong'un mates ready to distract him from football.
All of that being said, I'd love it if I was wrong and he finally realised his potential. Unbelievably talented footballer!

As for Morrison, I think the PL will be a bit of a stretch for him after his cameo appearances in the Championship and Italy.

Players like Ravel and Adel are a conundrum - bags of talent, don't give a fuck attitude. Imagine either of them if they had the desire to knuckle down and keep on improving. But often this kind of talent comes with a maverick personality.... In the case of our beloved Stanley, he was able to make it work, or perhaps more accurately, we were able to accommodate him. The world of sport has changed dramatically since then. Can't see it working out for Ravel at the Blades any more than it has done elsewhere. But I guess since they got him free and he goes on to deliver a couple of cameos it might be considered worth it...

Glides across the pitch and is a genius with the ball. Should be the player that England build the team around as no one like him in this country. Sad thing is that is the should be's where as the reality is he is having to prove himself to Sheff Utd. Good luck Ravel.

Available on a free....,worth a try maybe? When it comes to natural ability he certainly is Adel/Eze material, and still only 27...,,,

Had one of his better spells in his career with us
He has a short shelf life so a year with option not a bad shout. Towards end of window if he’s free and we still need padding then would not be against it
I see Faurlin is without a team and been tweeting loads of QPR fans. It was the right time for him to leave when he did but given we need ball player with experience to sit and pick passes, like Wilkins in twilight of his career, could do worse then get him back. He won’t be box to box or flying into tackles but with Amos one side and Ball other doing his running could see it working

Might have all the natural ability in the world but he’s surely the worlds most natural peeenarse. Hasn’t settled anywhere and can’t see warburton wanting time touch him with a barge pole.

no way, 27 and failed at every club. wilder is a top manager who gets fhe best out of his players and likes a player down on their luck and if he wasn't able to get ravel back to a passable standard then there's no chance warbs will lol

You can hope the penny drops at a certain point, he is approaching 30 now so maybe it will, and his best days were with us. Hard work and effort are trainable in the end, talent like this is a gift.....

Maybe Ramsey can work wonders with him? Who knows! Not sure Ramsey has much to do with the first team Shania, and Ravel is 27 years old so well beyond the youth set up. Honestly, I think this lad is best left alone. Despite his talent, If he was gonna do something with his career it would have happened by now. As for talk of bringing Faurlin back. Daft, rose tinted glasses thinking in my opinion. He's not managed a run of games at any kind of decent level since he left us.

Ale's done his ACL three times, poor guy. Once is bad enough. Sadly you can't see any way back following that, at this level.

One of the most naturally gifted players I have ever seen and if he could get himself in order would be a hell of a player.
