Small acorns, but the sign of a good team, dare we say it. In the making at least It's amazing what a psychological lift the Austin signing has given the entire club. If you’re not conceding you’ve always got a chance of winning. QPR have some talent in the forward areas, obviously especially Charlie, but there are a few players who can get a goal now. From the sounds of it the team missed Carroll and to a lesser degree BOS at left wing back. I’m sure MW is looking to bring in a midfielder or two in the window and hopefully a left-back / wing back. Forward line and Central defence look good, obviously keeper too, almost the core of a good squad is in place We need a quality CM too, especially highlighted today by Carroll's absence.

Need to put them away

Hitman is on the money with Bonne..Dykes was decent but Bonne is looking sharp and when strikers hit form you need to play them I’ve criticised Bonne but your right he’s looked hungry last few games. One of those annoying players can look pony at the same time as looking like there might be something there We have all criticised both Bonne and Dykes but it looks like Charlie has given both a confidence boost. Look at the German striker at the scum he looks shot confidence wise...it can happen to new players at clubs.

Criticised the way Warburton utilises him. Bonne on the other hand is a disappointing signing. Doesn't look like a Championship striker to me. That said, I've been watching Dykes play for Scotland too. Bonne I'd barely seen anything of before he came to us.

Problem is teams will now ask us to pay through the nose now they realise we are so short in M/F Pritchard may be a good option until June.

I wrote them a bit off - but Bonne, Willock and Dykes worked very hard and deserves much credit. Dykes should have had a goal towards the end! dykes had decebt r ouch game, Bonne put himself about when he came on. Willock goal aside I thought was shite Harsh. He had a quiet game but wasn't shite imo.

Compare his involvement in 90mins to how involved Bonne was for his 25mins Just expecting more from him. But then he popped up with winner 😂

Just watching highlights, that Morrison handball early on was as blatant as any I´ve seen. Why no penalty was given is beyond me

When you see what pens are given for nowadays that’s as blatant as they come. I was watching via Cardiff commentators and they were actually very honest throughout. They said that was pen, they said Austin goal should have been given and they could not believe Dykes was pulled up for his goal. Fair play to them they called it as it was

Nice to see three league games unbeaten. Back to back away wins, with clean sheets in both. No goals conceded in normal time for three matches on the trot. Taking at least some of our chances. Moving up the table. BOS out of the picture. A goalkeeper.
Maybe, just maybe, things are finally beginning to click and we can be seen as a difficult fixture in future, as opposed to can’t wait to play us.

Pressure off Warbs for now I think. The arrival of Austin seems to have lifted the rest of the squad. Seny Dieng though, what a player.

Back then I tried my best not to criticize Green but must say would choose Dieng every day.

These stats are nuts. There were posts last night that said he wasn't doing much, hadn't got his kit dirty and he was disappointing. He would have had a really average game if he hadn't scored. Passing and possession stats are misleading - pissing about going nowhere counts towards the stats, knocking it on to someone because you don't want to take responsibility is a pass. Goals converted from chances is one that makes sense, but passing? Could mean anything. And I'm not knocking Willock - just the way we're inundated with stats these days.

The only passes they should count are forward ones. Otherwise these stats are misleading, I agree Alan.

I guess I brought it up because liking Green Day is probably the only really disgusting thing, I´ve ever heard him say. If indeed he did say that.

It´s the lockdown finally driving me completely insane, Ginge. All sorts of random information and reminiscences stored somewhere in my scrapheap of a brain presents itself as a good idea to post. Good thing is we finally get some results, so I probably won´t deteriorate in to a complete lunatic, retreating into the forest, feeding off larvae and bark, and communicating only by twitching my left thumb.
