Always enjoyed watching Bullard play and he's the only good thing now about Soccer AM imo. Always a character, football needs more like him. Far too serious now.

I listened to a podcast that he did with Rob Beckett where David Bentley was the guest. Very funny and Bentley sounded a nuts as Bullard.

love jimmy, met him a few times as my dad is very good mates with him lol. absolute nutter irl, way too hyper. doesn't really talk about football either which is weird. Mate knows him v well as both have pubs. Reckons he don’t stop talking about golf but never about football as you say 😂 Think he’s a scratch golfer too. Meant to be mustard. he bounces back and forth between golf and fishing lol. my dad loves his fishing hence why they're friends but sometimes bullard just vanishes for 2-3 weeks to play golf. out of curiousity is your pub owning mate a fisherman?

Thought he was out of order to that Charlie lad. Comes across as decent fella. Totally uncalled for from Ollie.

Holloway and Ainsworth are looked at by some fans as a club legends, something that I’ve never agreed with.

Holloway and Ainsworth are looked at by some fans as a club legends, something that I’ve never agreed with. think it depends on the age. i'm only 30 so the likes of ollie resonates more with me than say, dave sexton for example. i don't think ollie is a club legend though. i don't think anyone from my time supporting us is, maybe taarabt is the closest to it? even then its a bit of a stretch.

Tarrabt will never be a legend for me. He was a complete dick who never did anything before or since. A complete waste of talent who could never come close to legend status. He turned up half way through the first half of the Leeds game FFS. Wanker .

Mixed feelings on this one. Absolutely cannot deny he does love this club. That’s so evident when he continually refers to the club as us and we. He was very passionate in wanting the fans to get behind GA but I just can’t forget all the bollox he came out with before when we were playing shit under him and he called people out for leaving. That’s was nonsense. I’m happy enough for him to be a cheerleader but at no point would I want him anywhere near the club in a management or coaching capacity.

That season under Warnock was the first time I'd seen anyone in a hooped shirt go past defenders with such ease since Rodney / Stan. I don't give a fuck what he did or didn't do next - in fact he was re-invented as holding mf for Benefica and had a good run with them - but what he did that year is the reason I watch football: to see something special.

Agree. All down to Warnock knowing how to handle him and, equally important, how to handle the effect on the rest of the squad. He gets away with being a dick but take a look at your win bonuses.

Tarrabt is a legend. If only for that glorious one season. For me that season was like double dating Susanna Reid and Gemma Arterton. Now it's like seeing Kathy Burke and Caitlin Jenner.
