Tough game against an in-form top 8 Rovers.
Vice-man now on the grass apparently and Lyndon still self-isolating...

Seriously though, need Jordy on the bench soon, the football gods can be fickle, and with no real centre back cover on the bench, it’s asking for trouble
The game against Blackburn will be a good indication of where the team are, get a nice home win against a good team and I think it’ll show that the team are good enough to be in the top halve of the table. The game against Brentford in a couple of games will also be a good yard stick.

no real centre back cover
Isn't that why we bought young Dykes?

I really, really want a win against Blackburn. Hope for a 1-0 victory to us, if we can contain Dack, back from injury, and the super fast Alan Armstrong that is.

Season defining game - keep the momentum and maintain our safety cushion or drop right back in it with some dangerous teams. Apart from Wycombe it could be anyone going.

Although I did dream o was banging a mates sister in a single bed and the current pope at the time was watching from the other bed. Might of been a subliminal reference to fuck Celtic 😳

Armstrong is the second highest scores in the Championship, and a 'conversion rate' of 21%. So if he scores from one in five of his shots, better make sure he gets no more than four chances... Also, Dack may be back after being out injured - bit of a worry if he's fully match-fit. On paper, we have a decent chance against them, but Blackburn seem to be one of those teams we don't do well against and I'm fairly pessimistic about this one.

The teams looking sharp in training, I fancy a Rangers win, I’ll go 2-1 again

Harvey Elliott is on loan from Liverpool and May be the big danger for Blackburn...especially as he was released by us at Thirteen for being too small.

Tough game today. And we seem to be better on the road this season than at Loftus Road. I'd happily take a point.

You win some, you lose some with youth players mate. Eze didn't make the grade at pretty much every side in London before he came to us. Still not convinced Harvey Elliot will go onto be a top quality player myself. Seems like a bit of a prima Donna to me.

I think we have to go into the game with confidence given our form.
IMO the home thing is a red herring really, as home or away should make no difference to players when playing behind closed doors.

I would imagine if we sat back and played not to concede Blackburn would get frustrated and open up a little...otherwise I suspect a similar game to Derby
They have a dour Manager with similar tactics imo

Johansen has settled in nicely and Fields, I’d imagine will be on the bench today and probably will make an appearance at some point during the game.

Regardless of the result (hopefully a home win), I think it will be a good game of football. I think there will be a few goals today, although I’d happily take a 1-0 QPR win Blackburn do score a few goals, but they are also conceding at least a goal a game I’d start with the same starting 11 from the Watford match, get Fields on the bench and Jordy too if he’s fit enough, he surely can’t be far away now

Bonne in training. Way he pulled up at Watford thought he would be out couple of weeks Looked just like cramp to me. Lumley pulled couple good saves off and looked in a good mind space Always been a good shot stopper. Less so as a footballer which, in this day age, seems keepers have to be too.

trade a great game for three points any day of the week, frankly

True, but the way that the two teams go about their business, they’re both teams who like to control possession and attack. It’s going to be a good test and show where the team are in regard to how competitive they are against a good attacking football team. If QPR do manage to win today, they’ll believe they can beat anyone in the division on their day. I hope they get the win today and get this poor results at home monkey off their back.

Honestly, I think Warburton ruined him. Clearly he's a very confident lad and probably bought into the idea of trying to play the ball at his feet etc. In reality, he was never good enough to play the way he was being asked and he got found out. Then the moronic element of our fanbase are on him, his confidence is shot to bits and he's probably looking forward to a fresh start. I think he'll go on to be a decent keeper where ever he ends up next.

I bet Jonathan Kodjia had something to do with it as well. Think that kick to the head have made him more nervous. Maybe it´s just my imagination, but I seem to remember him being better and more fearless going into challenges and claiming the ball in the area before that incident.
