I don't think that's correct. There are loads of boring reasons why.......

If it's not FFP then what's stopping us? We have had a League One budget for years now. Why would it suddenly change?

Sadly we will not be able to keep Austin and Stefan both. Says who? Wages, if you catch my drift. They are on premiership wages irc.

Both players seem happy at the club, Shania. Deals can be struck. So Im not sure it’s such a foregone conclusion.

If it's not FFP then what's stopping us? We have had a League One budget for years now. Why would it suddenly change? Well you did ask so here goes. The reason we've basically had a league one budget recently has been largely a matter of choice, since we are now as free from FFP sanctions as anyone else in the division, in fact more so than some. The other key point is that FFP itself is looking very vulnerable to serious challenges since the Man City verdict, that was the 'UEFA version' of FFP but many of the same principles are applied over here. The governance of the EFL has also raised questions about their ability to oversee a level playing field FFP wise. Sky's Prem Media Rights alone are worth 2.8bn pa, which is why some clubs at our level invest, since even a cycle of promotion and relegation is incredibly lucrative vs doing nothing and staying at this level. Norwich know the score. No one wants to see us revert to the lottery winner in Harrods mentality of a few years ago, but I've always argued that a boom / bust economic cycle would not be in the club's best interests. And yet that's pretty much what has happened. The Southampton model of sustainability - that was one of the club's favourite buzz words - only works if you've invested over the years in an exceptional academy system, and we're nowhere near that. So, in answer to your question, we are stopping ourselves.

Do we have a young squad? No one has really broken through and Niko, Chair, Dieng arent really young even though just breaking through.

Fulham looked dead and buried at christmas, but have half a chance of making it, which means Stefan may stay, I guess. And that is about the only positive I can see in Fulham staying up

Firstly, If we can`t keep Johansen he has to be replaced by a new signing and we also have to buy two new strikers. Sadly we will not be able to keep Austin and Stefan both. Secondly, I like how the management have improved our squad. If Fulham drop they'll want Johansen back

fulham will stay up i reckon, only lost 2 of their last 10 prem games and were very unlucky to lose against spurs. they've been playing exceptionally well though, anderson, lookman and areola have been great for them this season.
i think it'll be newcastle who end up going down. they're nothing without wilson up front and bruce is a shite manager
