My man of the match goes to Marbs as he got his subs spot on, set the team up well to counter the Bees threat, and must have given one hell of a half time team talk following that poor first half display. He also adapted our shape well mid-game to counter their changes, something we've not seen much from him before. It actually looks like he has a plan B or even C now. It does make you wonder what's taken him so long, but the Austin signing has clearly been a massive factor, not just for his goals but now our most vocal player on the pitch. He's become a real talisman, inspiring his team mates to all raise their games.
Honourable mentions:
Dieng, Kane, Wallace, Johansen, Field, Austin and Willock were the stand our performers tonight IMO, in no particular order.
I predicted Ball would struggle before the game which turned out to be the case, so was delighted to see his replacement Field have such a good debut and score a cracking goal.
Kane improved as the game wore on.
Wallace continues to impress since his return.
Austin showing brilliant striker's instinct as always.
Johansen solid and classy throughout.
Willock another excellent cameo.
Dieng dependable and assured as ever.

Johansen the type of midfielder we have been crying out for for years.
Liked look of field when he came on we actually looked mobile in the centre of the park

Went for Wallace as thought he did well and got forward and cut back for the winner needed him to pick up a booking for £150 but he got taken off A player who gets a lot of stick but as a LB he’s pretty solid and reliable and think he’s worth his place in the team. If he was not so injury prone I would have no second thoughts extending contract

I agree with corbray. That is two big results against good teams after he has come on and changed the game. Warbs for the subs I understand as well.

I voted for Marbs. Credit where credit is due.
