everywhere as i don't think any of our squad, bar dieng and maybe qpr loving austin is up to standard for the prem.
dickie, field, willock and chair maybe could be prem players one day but still need to get a bit more experience yet. maybe barbet could step up ala steve cook style for us but i doubt it.
we'd have to revamp the whole team just to survive but that would undo everything the club has been trying to do. if we can keep most of the squad together next season and improve some areas then that would be better for us as we can really push on

We still have filthy rich owners lol. Would possibly include Marbs in your list too, Corbs. |

Personally in the unlikely event that happened I’d just add a few bits to the squad on sensible wages. Good championship players and bank the windfall. Try your luck but if the inevitable happens you’ve improved the squad but not lumbered it with heavy wages. Would give the club a solid foundation to have a proper go and build a proper squad all the while Alleviating any financial worries for the foreseeable. Didn’t do Burnley and Norwich and real harm in the long run

Keep within budget and improve the squad. Sure, we'd get battered every week and relegated for sure. But we'd have a stronger squad going into the following Championship season, a squad we can build on with no fear of financial sanctions.
Build slowly. We tried throwing money at it, twice. It didn't work.

Don't think we'll make the play-offs.
Agree with Corbray that if we were promoted, we'd be straight back down. But would it be worth it for the financial rewards? Promotion last year was worth around £180m (according to the BBC).
What if we kept spending to a minimum, anticipating relegation, and then spent to build the team in the Championship the following season, supported by parachute payments - seems to be what Norwich have been doing in recent years.
That year in the Prem would be horribly painful though... but would stabilise the club financially for a few years.

We won’t make play offs or be anywhere near IMO this season. Come end of season still think we will be looking down rather then up
Next season if we got couple decent experienced players like we done this jan window and kept other players could see us fighting for play offs
