Still only 3 points from playoffs if we win games in hand though

I would expect changes on Saturday Keeper and 3 won't change, Ball and Chair his favourites - others? Can see Kakay and Niko starting.

Sky commentator on Kane final shit cross: "Just when QPR want him to deliver his trademark cross!" Well that was his trademark cross FFS Good point away though. As others have said couple of months ago we'd have lost that.

Not many will like this. Lack of desire from MW. Good point but should of been 3. Nah we didn't deserve anything from that game so a point is a bonus.

I know play off places keep being mentioned but honestly think there is no chance. Still think come end of season we will be looking down instead of up
Improved so many areas but still don’t score enough and goals win games. We played shit but those two chances Dykes missed (and other similar chances from throughout team all season) are the difference between genuine chance of play offs. We’re not clinical enough in business area in creating chances and taking the few we do create

This is QPR mate, you know we don't win games like that. Our games in hand are Rotherham and Wycombe, and honestly wouldn't be surprised if we lost both (though I'd be much more pissed off than tonight if we didn't win both). Just saying, there are positives to take here, still on an unbeaten run, a clean sheet away from home against a team who are always tough to play. It's a decent point from a shit performance.

Where Dykes goes from here I dont know. I don’t know if he needs more time or one to go in off his arse but he just don’t look like a goal scorer. People say you get one and others will follow but not even convinced In his case that Would apply. He Could score one then go another 15games without one

we were very fortunate tonight although warbs lack of subs really leaves me with a "what could of been" taste in my mouth as i believe we could have had a stronger foot in the game with the right players being brought on the pitch.
to class this performance as dissapointing is an understatement after our recent form raised all of our expectations against a team on the decline. i hoped for better but i'll take a point, but thats only because i'm greedy.
we were lucky preston had their boots on backwards as they had more than the lions share of chances tonight.
kane's crossing is inexusable at this point and its kinda cringey after his winning goal celebration on saturday. he gets forward well but thats for nought if he does nothing with it, it'd be like me reaching the finish line of a 100m spring in 4 seconds and then having a picnic. kakay deserves a chance at RB as kane probably put in as many crosses as preston had shots yet produced the same number of good crosses as his understudy on the bench. gotta draw the line somewhere and there's been no improvement in what is a crucial part of his game.
i actually thought ball had a good 2nd half and was the only player still committed and getting stuck in after 75 minutes when everyone else was too busy thinking about how tired they were. still think its time to bring field in for him though as field brings that cutting edge and quality to the midfield, tenacious little player who'a technically gifted and someone you can rely on to get the job done. for all of balls passion and get-on-with-it attitude he often gets caught out of possession or misplaces a pass, and it'll come back to bite us in the ass one day.
chair has been like an AM version of LTC's first spell for us recently. smooth with the ball but has a fetish for passing it backwards or to the side. he needs a big reminder tbat he's not a guarenteed starter so for that reason its time for willock to step in as our creative outlet.
dykes is just ... dykes. however much i'm a fan of his he squanders any half chance or key pass he gets. this run of games without a goal or a decent run out is terrible for his confidence and mental state. needs some relaxing time on the bench to gather his thoughts at this stage. we can manage without him for sure and its only fair bonne gets a shot.

One of Warburton's continuing weaknesses is picking players who are out of form. Doesn't do him or them any favours at all. I get the rotation element, but you still need a functioning eleven on the park.

Austin very quiet tonight. Because his service was non-existent. Even the best strikers in the world depend on being fed. Nah we didn't deserve anything from that game so a point is a bonus. Kind of game you could nick though. Exactly. Given the hugely contrasting form of both sides going in, it was still a disappointing result. Obviously a clean sheet and point I'll take but given how shit PNE are currently, they were there for the taking. He probably figured to leave a team that has beaten four of the top teams unchanged was reward That depends which team we're talking about. Throughout this run the team that's ended up on the pitch and won those games has been markedly different from the starting eleven. kane's crossing is inexusable at this point and its kinda cringey after his winning goal celebration on saturday. he gets forward well but thats for nought if he does nothing with it, it'd be like me reaching the finish line of a 100m spring in 4 seconds and then having a picnic. kakay deserves a chance at RB as kane probably put in as many crosses as preston had shots yet produced the same number of good crosses as his understudy on the bench. gotta draw the line somewhere and there's been no improvement in what is a crucial part of his game. Fully agree. You're right about Ball too. And Warbs' subs weren't effective on this occasion. His devoted loyalty to Dykes, Kane, Chair and Ball seems quite strange too.

A winning formula though Stan. Croys, IMO it's getting to the stage where he'll need to consider tweaking his starting 11, as there are too many non-performers in that line-up. Invariably we've been winning all these games mainly as a result of his substitutions from the 55-65 min mark. Add to that the fact it's a fairly small squad, plus we're playing twice a week on average - all takes its toll. Last night's performance against a poor side certainly showed it.

Dykes, Ball and Chair need a spell where they rest and be taking out of the firing line. Ball and Dykes look like they are lacking confidence where as Chair is confident but not doing very much at all on the field of play. Adomah is a decent finisher and has pace so why not give him a go with Charlie. Two experienced players who know this division well and could make it happen for us.
