The point of posting Pearson video is we had months and months of people taking issue with Warburtons post match interviews and how bad they are. This guy was seen as the answer but there you go that’s his calibre of post match summary 5mins plus of nonsense, riddles and a guy who looks totally lost and disinterested. We put up with equally bad runs twice under Ollie. Sheff Utd put up with worse run this season of defeats plenty clubs have bad runs and keep managers It’s not a QPR thing sometimes it’s right pull the trigger sometimes it’s right to hold your nerve. Perhaps instead of pulling trigger we should have held nerve, as we have this time, with Warnock first time round. For the record never wanted Warburton go as think he’s a reasonable fit for the club but equally had they sacked him I could have understood why and got the thought process We will have future bad runs so we can do it all again then 😁 Agreed, and Pearson is certainly eccentric. However I think it's a bit early to imply that he's past it, after just two weeks into the job, and with the form he has at this level.

No I dont think he’s past it but strikes me as type of person that would fit certain type of club. The Bristol city job as outsider looking in and listening that interview and pre match dont strike me as good fit. Anyway not Bristol fan so could not give a shit so moving on swiftly

Pesronally, I think his interview made a lot of sense, but he sounded a bit irritated. And rightly so; his team had just lost. However, now when Warburton & CO seem to have got their house in order, I prefer continuity over yet another new manager in without really knowing the outcome. But I question Pearson`s personality when things goes against him. He sure is a bit eccentric. Warburton, albeit a bit stubborn, is more the pedagogically kind of guy, and I believe that benefits a young squad better in the long run.

Must be very difficult to do an effective long term job as a manager these days at the vast majority of clubs.
Constant moaning from fans that they are doing this wrong and should be picking that player. Many fans can’t even accept a settled playing style, as they feel the manager should have some miraculous insight as to how things are going to pan out before any given match. I guess we are all guilty of it to some degree.
Managers used to be around for years, being allowed to build teams and clubs in a stable environment. These days you can’t sign a player expecting him to see out his contract if he’s any good at all. And almost no chance of moving him on if he’s shit, with clubs preferring the short term nature of loans.
I’d love to see a situation whereby whoever starts the season as your manager and in the squad as players, are there until after the final match. Pretty sure that this would see a vast improvement in the overall standard of play for most clubs and at least give the fans more of a chance to watch players playing to a far higher percentage of their ability. Slight problem with Dykes in that scenario, but you can’t win them all. 😂

Spot on, and this season, sports science has been a deciding factor in so many ways I should believe.

Managers used to be around for years, being allowed to build teams and clubs in a stable environment. Two things ended that. Firstly the vast media rights money fest, which created massive boardroom pressure on coaching staff in the top two divisions. And secondly a high manager turnover actually worked out better than the old model for some clubs. Posted by West Actonabout an hour ago No I dont think he’s past it but strikes me as type of person that would fit certain type of club. On that we can agree. One reason why he wasn't top of my list to come here was because it was pretty obvious he would never work with Hoos again.
