Hope they get here before he takes Field off for Ball on 65 Amazing how accurate that was Alan. We were better off with Field on. Hopefully not an injury and just building his fitness. He's predictable Stan, nothing cleverš

I watched match via Bristol city feed. Pre match interview with Pearson was just bizarre. Geezer made absolutely no sense was like he was talking in deliberate riddles. Was really odd to watch. Was left thinking his heart is not in this

Lee Wallace is turning into Benjamin Button. Displayed a nice turn of speed a few times today. Fittest he's looked in Hoops.

A convincing win over the favourite manager of many posters here. City will be top Six next year TimmyĀ Save this post mate Pearson will build them into a forceĀ Might do if he's managing them, as his contract is only til end of season.

Not many comments on here about Cameron's absence. Not sure we missed him....? Can definitely rotate now.

He played back three earlier in season. Think it was more stop gap today then long term plan

He's predictable Stan, nothing cleverš apparently most points we have had at this stage of a season since being relegated. which tells you just how mediocre we've been. Re the comments made about Pearson. It seems kind of harsh judging him after two games given the extraordinary indulgence shown various managers we've had since we came back down, MW included. People forget that it was Pearson who began the transformation at Leicester and did something no manager we've had has achieved for a long while now. He may not have it in him anymore, who knows, but I wouldn't write him off just yet. Having said all that, for my money he is slightly insane. But that could work for them, we'll see.

It would be good to hear a bit of praise for the club (Les/Hoos?) bringing in Austin, Johansen etc. They've dug themselves and MW out of a hole which is GREAT, but it will be a concern again if we can't keep them.

Rangers fans favourite manager not to have managed us (apart from Tim Sherwoodš) Christ. You could imagine the reaction MW would get if he came out with such utterly ridiculous drivel. Just waffling on without saying anything really. Other than the fact that the players are quite fit enough to play football a couple of times a week.š

People pull Warburton for his but Christ sake this is another level but this guy is the chosen one. Iām guessing he donāt see himself as championship manager and heās treading water. Canāt see him there end of season if this is his level of motivation

Players are always incredibly reluctant to criticise the manager for obvious reasons. Things seem OK at the moment, that's all we can say for certain. Pearson. At least he didn't trot out the same old excuse that we've heard so many times this season re fixtures etc. Clearly he thought that they simply went missing for long periods. " I want to see individual players accepting responsibility". That strikes me as being fair enough. He can't come out a couple of games in and name names. I find it interesting that people are having dig after however many days he's been there. The same people who have basically kissed Warburton's arse repeatedly despite everything that happened - or didn't happen - over 18 months. I never saw Pearson as a messiah, and it maybe that this wont work out. But he does have serious form in the book at this level.

I don't get this "nothing happened in 18 months"? Haven't we played good football all this time? Didn't do that badly result-wise either last season.

But he does have serious form in the book at this level.Ā Pearson wouldn't have been a good fit for us although I was tempted to think go for him at one point mainly because I could see us dropping if nothing changed. Can we stop rewriting history? I can't think of another club in the modern era, apart perhaps from Wycombe with Ainsworth, that would have put up with MW's awful run. Most on here thought Hoos and Les were about to pull the trigger that night the cameras caught them in the directors box, phones out. Obviously they took the decision THE CLUB had to change things and they brought in some players instead of binning off MW... lucky boy. What happens if we can't keep those players or afford to replace with similar? Back to the future. No secret on here that he doesn't impress me but there were as many saying the squad is weak as were saying MW doesn't get the best out of it.

Interesting to hear both Marbs and Dickie put the improved performance partly down to playing on a better pitch. Just shows how important a good playing surface is for our style:

The point of posting Pearson video is we had months and months of people taking issue with Warburtons post match interviews and how bad they are. This guy was seen as the answer but there you go thatās his calibre of post match summary 5mins plus of nonsense, riddles and a guy who looks totally lost and disinterested.
We put up with equally bad runs twice under Ollie. Sheff Utd put up with worse run this season of defeats plenty clubs have bad runs and keep managers
Itās not a QPR thing sometimes itās right pull the trigger sometimes itās right to hold your nerve. Perhaps instead of pulling trigger we should have held nerve, as we have this time, with Warnock first time round.
For the record never wanted Warburton go as think heās a reasonable fit for the club but equally had they sacked him I could have understood why and got the thought process
We will have future bad runs so we can do it all again then š
