honest answer knowing age and lack of experience I would have come in not expecting to get much game time and thinking this is long term project and would have been wise remain Southend as you suggest so get game time or loan somewhere else. After getting few run outs and missing easy chances I would defo be thinking need a loan If I was him my issue would not be not getting chance it would be I should be out on loan playing regular They obviously didn't intend to send him out or they would have done so I don't think he's been treated very fairly.
