There's a lot of posts on the forum now appearing as "deleted member". Just to let people know that they belonged to Sparx who unfortunately decided to delete his account. We've no idea why but it's a shame as he was a good and valued poster here. Hopefully he'll choose to return sometime.
For future reference if anyone wishes to leave the forum can we kindly request that you don't delete your account because it then removes your username attached to the posts, so no one knows who's posted it.
History has shown us that posters often need to take a break from posting. So we get requests asking for their accounts to be deleted; then a few months later they want to return. So usually the best solution is just to log out of your account and stop visiting for a while; then return whenever you wish with all your posting history still intact.

Ok, cool. Although not all deleted member posts will be his (or her) as there was another user that made couple of accounts before doing same. Not sure it's that important?

It makes the site look odd if you get loads of posts from "deleted accounts". As I say, better to just log out and take a break for a while if needed, rather than delete an account and all the posting history, only to return a while later. |
