Matt Smith has broken his leg I think. apparently the old warhorse has been playing with a broken foot. Out for rest of season. Hasn't had much luck latter part of his career (Fulham, us and Wall). Always a threat as a 9 given the service, he hasn't really had that on a regular basis since he was at Leeds. Six points next two games and everyone can put their feet up over the int. break. Come on. |

Millwall big physical side so can get why Dykes is selected if honest especially from set piece point of view

Neither Bonne nor Dykes is worth a place in the starting XI. If one of them have to start then let it be Dykes. Then there would at least be a minor chance our substitute would score a goal if we are losing.

He’s not scored a hat full of own goals, he missed a fair few chances that all.
Every striker can go on a barren spell, while he’s picked just try not to pre judge him every game. If he has a stinker just leave it until the end.

Millwall big physical side so can get why Dykes is selected if honest especially from set piece point of view but i've not even seen him contribute to that, defensively or attacking tbh. the main quality of dykes is his long throws which will be obselete against a giant millwall team. i hope i come back to bite my words and dykes has a blinder but imo he needs to be dropped to the reserves to refind his confidence and get his head down |
