We have better ball players in the team now which helps with the style of play, We have also got a spirit that is good and getting rid of Samuel has also helped the side

I hope we can replace Austin and Johansen with the same quality next season after WBA and Fulham come back down . It won't be easy.

I'm hoping West Brom and Fulham keep their current squads intact so they won't want to recall Austin and Johansen... On Warb's words, well, I think he speaks really well. Open, honest, calm, thoughtful and (usually) avoids the clichés most pre/post game interviews are littered with.

If Charlie is out of contract we’ll have all on to offer him something competitive - if he stays out of love for QPR I’ll be amazed. Johansen is exactly what Fulham will need next year just like we needed him.

Maybe offer Charlie a player/coach role? Two salaries in effect, and his experience with the forwards could work really well.

Not a massive selection to choose from but we’ve won every game when de wijs, barbet and dickie have started and not gone off injured. Barbet and Dickie never get subbed and have been virtual ever-presents. de Wijs I think has been critical and we'll have a pretty solid back line once he's fully fit. There's a really fine line for us between looking very shaky at the back and pretty solid. Their first yesterday the boy had all afternoon, strolled into the box unaccompanied, happened again second half and they didn't convert.

Really good to see this win, nice that the big lad helped himself to a couple, confidence is a preference as someone once said.... The thing that slightly concerns me is our defending, at least three times they had men in the box who just weren't picked up. If we defend like that we're not going to away with it on a regular basis. Not quite sure what's changed there, but for my money we aren't looking quite as solid as we were. MW goes on about looking after the ball like a broken record, it really doesn't matter what you do with the ball if you keep giving them opportunities. That apart, good result. Not like you to find negatives in a good win mate! 😂 I do agree to some extent though. We look a little bit fragile at the back when Cameron isn't one of the 3. Dickie, De Wijs and Barbet are all decent centre halves at this level, but one of them needs to adopt the role of organiser/general back there. Happy to be of service. I think its important to keep it real. So here's an open question, assuming everyone is fit..... who are the back 3? Because we all seem to have a divergence of views on this one.

As it stands it has to be Barbet De Wijs and Dickie but we have looked a little shaky coinciding with Dickie getting forward wide. I don’t know why that’s started - it was working fine before so don’t mess with it.

Because Barb DeW & Dickie were all on the park when that happened. If I can bear to do it I'll look and see if you're right re Dickie forward theory.

Agree, that's why I was in shock with that equaliser. Just like the bad old days it was. Think Al may have it right on why those three get exposed sometimes.
