So what do we do. Panic appointment or someone known for final games then look again

That’s the problem mate. Ideally we’d wait but I’d rather have Paul Hart than that uninspiring prat

I think we lost quite a few suitors today. so my guess is that the Board will go for Ainsworth. He is a good motivator.. Not my favourite though. Far from it..

Doubt Today will have any impact. Getting relegated will of course!

Or should we give him a chance? At least the players gave his all for him, it looked like..

Or should we give him a chance? At least the players gave his all for him, it looked like.. I was pleasantly surprised with the application of the team last night. And at least Eustace has sussed that Eze needed dropping. Something that McClaren seemed to struggle to get his head around. I'm still bemused that BOS doesn't start. Makes me wonder what he does (or doesn't do) in training!

It could be that Eustace means that BOS still lacks a bit when it comes to putting his chances away. But at least he creates them. All By himself also.

The basics were done last night unlike on Saturday so fair play to Eustance for picking a line up to get a result.

Makes me wonder what he does (or doesn't do) in training! This, he was very animated and kept them at it especially in squeaky bum time. Possibly left Wells on too long as the guy is obviously struggling with a problem and BOS gives us pace, otherwise he did OK. Let's see Saturday if he's still in charge.

Turning things round from the McClaren nosedive and on the back of an abject 4-0 thrashing from Norwich is no mean feat. The team showed the desire to scrap it out on Wednesday night that has been missing from recent games. This has to be down to Eustace. I was calling him useless Eustace after Norwich, but that was a knee-jerk reaction of despair; in reality what chance did he have in that game? If the team keeps this up on Saturday I say keep Eustace as caretaker till the end of the season at least.
Plus, he had an excellent record at Kidderminster Harriers, worth taking into account. I'm sure Eustace himself is really keen for the job permanently, let's see if he can make a case to deserve it.
"Eustace arrived at Harriers a little over two years ago, transforming the team’s style of play and has overseen two memorable campaigns, both in which the team have made the play-offs in National League North and the First Round proper of the FA Cup.
Chairman Colin Gordon said: “I said when we appointed John that he was a remarkable coach who would go on to have a terrific career in this side of the game so the fact he has been sounded out by such an established manager and a huge club is no surprise.
“Steve McClaren knew John well as a player but believes he’s also one of the finest young coaches he’s come across and was determined that he be part of things at QPR – quite simply it’s the ethos of this club that we won’t stand between hard-working, ambitious people and those kinds of opportunities.”

Gotta say I've not been impressed at all.
I know the job is a poisoned chalice but for me dropping BOS after his performance in the previous game was shocking and sticking with Lynch every game for me shows he knows no different from SMC.
Quicker we send this guy up the road the better IMO.
And Hubble, I appreciate we got a point at Millwall but they're on par with us as one of the worst teams in the league. Not much to crow about for us in all honesty.

Fair enough Jimmy, let's see how we fare today. I'm going to the game so I'm looking forward to seeing further improvements!

The sooner we fully rule out the possibility of relegation, the sooner we can work on getting things in place to ensure next season isn't another disaster.

Let him have it until the end of the season at least he has mixed things up and changed the formation and how we are set up.

So has he opened the door with last two performances and made himself an option???
What goes on his favour is after that piss poor effort against Norwich he appears to have sorted them out

I think Norwich was a sulky reaction from Eustace and players to what they saw as unfair sacking.

I would happily keep him on the coaching staff of next manager. He might not be right now but he’s got something, I can’t put my finger on it but there is something there which might be worth retaining

He might not be right now but he’s got something, I can’t put my finger on it but there is something there which might be worth retaining I think the way he has handled the whole situation and publicly saying he’s only there to hold the fort until the new manager means he might be retained whatever happens with the manager role.

New manager might not want him. Agree he seems to be quite a cool character.
