whats our most talented QPR 11 ever? not in terms of what they did with us but rather how good they were at their best. so for example a prime rio ferdinand was far better a player than alan mcdonald who was arguebly our best ever defender.
and who would manage this QPR side, same rules apply to the manager.
where do you think such a hypothetical star studded team would finish in the prem?

There's probably even better choices if I gave it greater thought, but this is off the top of my head. That being said, you still can't veer that far from the 75/76 side, as remember, that reached the pinnacle of (what is now) the EPL:
M: Sexton
1 Parkes
2 Clement
3 Sansom
4 R Ferdinand
5 McLintock
6 Wilkins
7 Taarabt
8 Marsh
9 L Ferdinand
10 Bowles
11 Thomas

seaman
walker ferdinand parker dawes
wilkins parejo
sterling bowels marsh
ferdinand
venables.
maybe sterling is a stretch as he never played for us but he was close to signing pro terms at one stage and a front 3 with him behind ferdinand would be a dream. wilkins brings steel and leadership to midfield whilst parejo is a magnificant playmaker in his own right.
the only positions i'm questioning is LB as i never saw dawes play, and GK as i think cesar could easily replace seaman and would be better with the ball at his feet.
i think that team could finish in the top 4 quite easily, if not 3rd in the league. venables was a great attack minded manager who could get the best out of his players too
