I saw something on instagram whereby they were offering full refunds but QPR still make their money out of it. They'll cover all costs and make sure it doesn't happen again.
Something along those lines, so hopefully you all got your refunds.

I'm hoping this is just for the pre-season games.

I'm hoping this is just for the pre-season games. Unfortunately the initial announcement sounded like they were planning on an extensive partnership. Lets hope those plans have been put in a bin.

We've only just got the quality of the stream sorted on QPR+ in the last season. Remember how sketchy that was in the early days?

Pretty sure it’s just for pre-season games. Possibly cup games too.

The club will be working with the excellent team at Recast to produce innovative and creative content that will be exclusively available on Recast’s platform.” But let´s just hope they´ve binned all plans of partnership after the Tuesday night fiasco

Thing is the club are already taking payments for QPR+ subscribers, including DD payments. And including for the whole season, for which they’ve raised their prices from £115 last season to £140 this season. So I can’t see how asking fans to fork out yet further payments to Recast for league games as in any way viable without causing major disquiet and complaints.

IN the fast changing digital and media landscape, QPR is always looking for ways to innovate, improve and progress.
What attracts us to Recast is the unique ability for the club to generate income where it hasn't been able to before, whilst giving supporters the freedom of choice.
This enables the club to further invest in more regular and ever-improving content whilst giving fans greater access to the club and players.
We're proud to be at the cutting edge of innovation for the better of the club and the fans, and with innovation comes challenges.
The issues experienced during our pre-season friendly with Cambridge United on Tuesday evening were unacceptable and Recast have accepted full responsibility for the technical problems.
They also worked quickly with the club to find a solution which meant the fixture was available to watch for free on YouTube.
All impacted supporters were fully refunded by Recast while the revenue earned for QPR was unaffected.
We have been assured by Recast that the technical challenges have been addressed. That said, further testing will be carried out by Recast to ensure no further issues are encountered. We remain excited about the value that will come from our partnership going forward.
All competitive first team fixtures which can be streamed as part of the central broadcasting agreement – which is yet to be finalised – will remain as planned exclusively on QPR+.

Yeah. Assume many here got the email. Only just noticed it in my inbox and it hadn’t been mentioned, despite our mutual hatred of the platform.
