i'd go for the first 11 but swap out chair/willock for dykes. millwall are a tough team with lots of physicality and height

I'd like Dykes in alongside Chaz but I'm not sure who to leave out...maybe Johansen if he isn't match fit? Push Willock back to CM and have Chair behind the front 2?

Always feel sorry for Adomah. Massive QPR fan and does brilliantly when he played, but he doesn't start many.
His goal contributions per minute played last season must be right up there.

In the Cambridge post-match interview Warbs said his front 5 could be a 1-2-2, 2-1-2 or 1-3-1. So lots of flexibility there (Plan B/C).
He didn't answer the question about switching to 4 at the back, so I assume from that he plans to stick with the 3/5.

His goal contributions per minute played last season must be right up there. i feel sorry for him too especially as he's a good winger at this level and has always done great when he's played for us. i can see him getting much more game time this year though. he's a very versatile and experienced player so i can easily see him covering lots of positions like RB, CM, striker and across the front 3. i hope he does anyway! |

Early days but looking like we’ll have subs to come on for last 25/30 who will keep the pattern of play and maintain tempo - or bottle it up. If there is a clear carrot of top six it will keep squad happy. A fully fit Charlie and Dykes mk2 is so risky though. Need cover.

I suspect we are looking at getting a striker in on loan Ginge. As a few have pointed out, I reckon we are 1 light up top. Unless Warbs has seen something in either Ramkilde or Kelman in the close season to suggest they are ready to play their part in the first team.

Chair can play there too. You also have to keep in mind that we usually only play with one out-and-out striker, so arguably we already have enough cover in that position. |
