Lotta Rs on social media shopping Chaz to the FA. As opposed to commenting. LFW has a thread for Chrissake. Fucking wankers cannot keep Schtum. As for lfw... I’m not surprised in the slightest with that lot.

Was Austin sent off? Headbutting? Nope but will be on the video evidence.

If the ref gave a freekick for the Charlie incident, then he must have seen it, and judged it worthy of just that, a free kick. They can only take retrospective action if the ref didn´t see the incident, right? Fingers crossed. Indeed. Case closed, your honour!

maybe the rules had changed I hope not. Remember the incident where that dirty Leeds bastard, and apparently also three lions hero, Kalvin Phillips, absolutely smashed MAGA Geoff after the whistle leaving him crocked for half a season? Nothing happened. But we are QPR, remember, so likely 43 league game ban for Austin, transfer ban for club next 10 years, and 200 million fine.

Kakay very average Mc Callum untested Don't agree Alan Don't want to change formation but we have no choice Can't go back four. It doesn't suit us and Kakay is no LB.

I don't know where all this talk of changing formation is coming from. We look far better with 3 at the back and we have cover for the positions we might have injuries. McCallum will come in for Wallace if he has done a hamstring, Kakay will come in for Moses. If De Wijs has also got a knock then Dunne can come in.
A bigger worry is up top if Charlie and Dykes were both to be unavailable. I don't think Dykes' injury looked too bad and as a few have pointed out, if the ref saw the clash of heads and gave a foul for it, I'm pretty sure it can't be punished again retrospectively.
I think we'll be fine. Chance for a few other lads to impress.

If they can do that then surely they can adjust a punishment.

not a headbutt. grant hall is a good looking guy and i reckon charlie got a bit too friendly and tried to kiss him. its a sad state of affairs that angry homophobes are trying to say that he headbutted grant.
i'm openly bisexual so i believe charlie should be applauded for his on pitch stand with the LGBT community. thank you for standing with us austin, we won't forget your bravery ♥️♥️

If that was Joey Barton imagine the fallout 😂 The difference is this the 2nd time I can remember Charlie doing something like this in his career. Joey would have violent incidents at least once or twice a season.

I believe that they changed the rules so that even if the ref saw, or gave a yellow, it can still be upgraded as he may have had his view skewed. Austin aside, tbf it makes sense. He should be sent off for that, it's a quality headbut but if it were the other way around, we would be going nuts.

On a different note. I think going down to 10 men proved the downfall of boro. Until then boro were tight and there was no space in midfield. Boro lost shape trying to exploit their extra man and that proved their undoing.

Irrational violent outbursts can be a side-effect of taking bugle. I remember an interview a couple of years ago when at WBA where he definitely seemed high on something. Then of course there was the infamous toilet incident in the Swindon nightclub.

Found this passage from the FA players manual: "The FA may take action even where an incident has been witnessed or acted upon by Match Officials in very serious or unusual cases. In such circumstances lengthy bans may result." (PDF on bottom of this page: www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/discipline/player-essentials ) Question is if they deem it "very serious or unusual"? I also think it depends on the match officials report, ie. if he writes that there may have been an issue with that freekick, that he was not able to see fully at the time.

It can only be that the ref didn’t see it clearly, surely? I don’t know any ref that wouldn’t give a straight red for a headbutt and Charlie’s was one of the best I’ve seen on a pitch for a long time. Given all that it’s likely to be a minimum 3 match ban which is really frustrating. Love Austin but he’s been a right cock there.

My point was it deflected attention at the time. Had it been for example Bruno Fernandes or Azpilucueta we’d have had big delay while ref went to linesman, fourth official - plenty of verbals on the benches and quite probably someone would have seen something.
