It can only be that the ref didn’t see it clearly, surely? I don’t know any ref that wouldn’t give a straight red for a headbutt and Charlie’s was one of the best I’ve seen on a pitch for a long time. Given all that it’s likely to be a minimum 3 match ban which is really frustrating. Love Austin but he’s been a right cock there. Exactly. I think the fact they were running away from the ref meant the ref possibly didn't see it like we all have. |

There were strong rumours he was at Swindon Town. I'd be hugely surprised if he'd have managed to get away with it throughout his career though. Fair amount of random testing happens in professional football. Any habitual user would be found out eventually.
